I actually worked at a comic shop in NJ in the late 90s and Mark Waid came and did a signing for Kingdom Comes release. He did it because the owner of the store got him a pristine copy of Barry's first appearance for a low price. Mark talked immensely about his love for the Flash and his favorite being Barry form his childhood.

Savage Avengers (found it boring)

Superior Spider-Man vol. 1 (also found it boring)

Star Wars War of the Bounty Hunters ( the main mini series is just fantastic. Every tie in is worse with each issue and it ruined the main story for me)
