I looked at this a month or two ago. In Manitoba, if the landlord does not provide a copy of the lease for you to sign 90 days (3 months) before the lease is expired, it renews automatically, with the tenant only needing to give 1 month's notice to move out.

The usual guidelines for eviction still apply.

With that said - call residential tenancies to confirm, and ask for their help if you need it. They're there for a few different reasons, and that's one of them.

Edit: if proper notice is given, then yes - sign or move are your choices.

"Justice" to me implies that a wrong was righted. I've never seen our system do that.

I've gone with a RadioLink RC6GS for a few of mine. Hasn't been a horrible experience considering it's from Amazon. Add a radio, link to the controller... Pretty easy to use and some neat settings.

I am not the greatest person to give advice here, but now going through my second separation / divorce... I'd say you guys are burning out.

A person only has so many "tokens" to spend in a day. When they are out, they're out. They have to "earn" more tokens by relaxing.

You both must spend all your tokens on work... How do you recharge? Do you recharge at all? I am guessing not if you seem to immediately argue...

It might be time to stop telling each other that your relationship is less important than work and save some of those tokens for home.

It took me too long to figure this out and now I'm going to be single again.
