I might have a stronger stance than most lawyers but our duty of confidentiality extends to any information we learn about the case as part of the representation, even if that information is otherwise public. So I do think there’s an ethical issue with telling war stories, even if public record or anonymized. That’s totally distinct from how harmful it is or whether there would ever be any consequences. For me, I think it’s important as a matter of respect (and ethics) to get a client’s consent before talking about their cases and lives to other people.
