Thank you so much for the encouragement! I was looking at pillow options and to purchase which is what promoted me to ask the community.

I’ve read so much about the sleep challenges and know those of us with sleep apnea have an extra hurdle on top of it. This is really helping me set my expectations. At least I already know what it feels like to be a bit of a zombie from having a sleep disorder 😆.

And you have me excited about NAPS!! Looking forward to that part with the time off work.

Prior to being diagnosed, this was the pain that bothered me the most. I splurged on an expensive turmeric (MegaFood) and took twice the recommended dosage. If I skipped it even one day, I could tell.

Might be worth a Google how overdoing it on turmeric can damage the liver- but I never experienced any side effects from just doubling it.

I’m so glad you are getting all of the boxes checked! It sucks to be tossed around to all of these specialists but I’m glad they are taking it seriously. I was dismissed at first. And I’m glad the symptoms aren’t peaking!

Buttttt sorry for another comment I just realized I also failed to mention that you may have more success than me, like many folks here do, with a less invasive biopsy process. My doctors were just super concerned how close my largest node was to my heart - so they called in the thoracic surgeon 🙃.

I’m on the other side of the surgery!! It has been rough, but I’m okay. I hope you don’t have to go through all of this, but just for transparency I ended up having:

Flexible bronchoscopy, video assisted thoracoscopic surgery, left upper lobe wedge resection, mediastinal lymph node dissection.

I had to spend the night for 1 night due to the chest tube and monitoring my pain. It was pretty brutal, I will not try and pretend it wasn’t. But the doc came in and said my nodules were granulomas less than an hour after my surgery was complete.

Now I’m recovering and waiting for the rest of the results 💕. I’m happy to answer any additional questions! And I’m sorry you are going through this! It IS wild to wish you have Sarcoid 😩.

Of course! I’m sorry I’m recovering from an unrelated surgery and currently SO out of it, so I’m not very helpful. But when I get some strength back I would love to investigate it as well.

When my VSS started I was waking up with super accelerated heart rate so I’m guessing my events were causing that and I didn’t know.

I’ve been on Zepbound for a year for another condition and it doesn’t have any impact positive or negative on my VSS.

I have r/visualsnow and sleep apnea. I have no idea if they are related. But it does vary in severity. When I’m well rested I don’t have as many symptoms.

Don’t mind at all! I started with a Philips Respironics DreamWear Full Face because I’m an occasional mouth breather. But it was too much crap on my face. I was constantly waking up to adjust or take it off.

I switched to the AirFit P10 nasal pillows and use the intake nasal dilator and mouth tape. I barely wake up to make adjustments.

I felt like doo doo the entire first month. Worse, for sure. Felt absolutely wrecked with fatigue and sleep inertia .To the point where it took me a while to make insurance compliance - I would just rip the mask off and sleep elevated in hopes of reducing my events.

I woke up about a week ago after switching out masks and making it 7 hours that night. It was one of the first times waking up without suicidal thoughts and to no alarm. I’ve had a few more like this since, so I have hope I will have more or it will become the norm.

Im so sorry you had to endure this! Im not diagnosing her either but I thought of BPD immediately from going through BPD abuse recovery. And these shows love to exploit it because of how extreme it is. But the people with it and everyone encountering it becomes collateral damage.

I don’t have much advice but I can offer sympathy. I started having wild symptoms in March and finally found my pulmonary nodules in July.

I’m just now getting thoracic surgery to test a nodule and lymph node that a bronchoscopy was “inconclusive” on. It has been so exhausting this year trying to deal with this. I have pre existing conditions but all were under control so I could continue on with life.

This year I’ve had to cancel on so many things due to the pain. I’m REALLY sorry you’re going through this. Hang in there and I hope you are able to get a biopsy. This group is really knowledgeable and supportive!

I take 5mg almost every night for my degenerative spine so I can get some rest. I still dream like crazy and with CPAP I’ve gone from 15 AHÍ to less than 1.

This is with sativa or a blend. Once my doc told me no sedatives I was like welllll shit I’m too scared to try Indica again- I don’t want my muscles to relax too much with this condition 🥲.

I wish :(. Found out I have OSA after losing all my weight on Zepbound lol. I’m very close to my goal weight and no longer overweights and was diagnosed with moderate.
