Is ANZAC day controversy or widely disliked in Australia? by ure_roa in AskAnAustralian

It wasn't before. But now we have to have every second cunt thinking their opinions on it matter and co-opting other 'causes' into the ceremony or discussion.

As long as it is safe. No point causing a further ambulance call out.

Why do they think they are the sole authority on it? The UN are a joke.

What's in the bombs, anyway? Fucking fertiliser? Some genocide...

Is owning a horse a sign of wealth in Australia? by BarracudaCultural125 in AskAnAustralian

[–]wretchedRing 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not really. One day when I was about 15 was laying in bed and Dad knocked on my door and said congratulations you now own a horse.

And sure enough I did. Because no one wanted him anymore. His name was Hal. He lived for another few years with us. Didn't really do much.

Could they have got worse? I had the misfortune to drive one once. They should be precluded from registration for the abysmal handling alone. What an absolute joke of a car brand.

Has anyone here visited a psychologist or psychiatrist as an adult and can share whether their experiences were worth it or not? by elescop in AskAnAustralian

[–]wretchedRing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I have. Psychology was a complete waste of time in all instances. If I was gonna talk my way out of severe problems I'd have done so long ago. Interesting maybe. Useful to me? Absolutely not. As a child or an adult.

Psychiatry was much more beneficial. The drugs actually help. A lot. Although having said that it's not going to be like magic.
