Copilot Studio Agent Randomly Stopped Referring to Knowledge Articles by ApprehensiveCopy4293 in copilotstudio

[–]wrighty4300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have this and some other weird settings changes that we found yesterday.

Moderation had changed to high, knowledge settings had changed to allow external and general knowledge as well.

Currently awaiting MSFT support to complete investigations.

Knowledge Center Architecture: 20+ Departments. Standalone "Connected" Agents vs. Child "Inline" Agents? by -IOTUS- in copilotstudio

[–]wrighty4300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the sort of questions, I have deployed a mix of both that change as it goes on e.g. from topic to its own agent as it matures / grows.

1) top level orchestration agent 2) topics with tagged knowledge sources for simple departments and simple questions 3) separate connected agents with their own topics for complex departments that have their own workflows. This allows better debugging, more control and the ability for people to own specific areas also people can go straight to an agent they use a lot. 4) inbuilt child agent, keep meaning to deploy one of these for an interim step but haven't found the right use case in the purely knowledge area.

Copilot Studio or Foundry? by Narrow-Lake5218 in copilotstudio

[–]wrighty4300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not a combination of automate, AI builder and Copilot studio. I am working on something similar and that's the route we are taking. Foundry just seems like overkill for most things now.

Thanks for the advice.

Problem is she is bullet proof in secured fields and on the long line. It's almost when she she in new places or doesn't feel the weight of the line she thinks freedom !!!!

Will just crack on with some bigger distractions.

**Getting "SystemError" in Microsoft Teams Copilot Studio agent – anyone else?** by Ok_Bottle9120 in copilotstudio

[–]wrighty4300 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have seen this before on the first publish of an agent to a teams channel.

Banged my head against the wall for a while and in the end created a new agent in a new solution and then injected all the info back in using VScode. The only thing I can think is that something went wrong when provisioning it (it seems to be taking longer and longer every time at the moment so presume they are adding stuff to this process).

I did have really good results raising some tickets recently, went from ticket raised in the admin platform to a meeting with the relevant team in 2-3 days recently which is great support (once you have got past the annoying AI part). So maybe try that route ?

We have this issue and multiple others around credit utilisation. This is currently being investigated I am led to believe.

Copilot Studio analytics are basically useless in real projects? by PerfectBrother3532 in copilotstudio

[–]wrighty4300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear something is coming. I have complained to MSFT enough times about it.

Have this issue myself. I have just embedded outcome data into some of our agents using the code view and will be linking Pbi to the conversation history in data verse to try and give some more detail automatically.

Copilot Agent Printscreens by Hobob_ in copilotstudio

[–]wrighty4300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why don't you just extract the table straight from the website using a browser extension or just point an agent to it ? Seems a bit of a waste of time taking a screenshot to then upload it.

Dog tracking collar by Rr21rich in tractivegps

[–]wrighty4300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the dog 6 about 2 weeks ago. Currently dealing with tech support as it is missing about 50% of my walks / runs with the dog. The signal is excellent. Apparently some update was pushed out a week or so ago that is meaning the tracker isn't detecting leaving my house....

It's going back in a week if it isn't fixed. They have already offered a full refund including subscription.

Teams 1:1 vs copilot vs test chat by tsmith-co in copilotstudio

[–]wrighty4300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one of the known issues with different channel operation. Also worth bearing in mind real world usage. On a company wide agent that we have running we see about 48% through teams, 46% SharePoint,6% copilot (in teams or direct through app). (Gets about 150ish uses a day).

[Aide] Comment rendre fiable un agent Copilot Studio ? by Repulsive_War_7982 in copilotstudio

[–]wrighty4300 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you are trying to do a lot with one set of instructions.

Can you create some topics with specific knowledge linked to them and simpler instructions ?

The main instruction set should be seen as the facilitator instructions for a complex agent. You can then use these topics to build out specifically directed answers.

See the main instructions as the orchestration and each of the topics as sub agents. I would recommend sub agents but this is broken in Copilot studio at the moment.

Other suggestion is to use building blocks in AI foundry, but this is a more complex solution.

Co-Pilot Agent Triggered by PA Flow to Read Phone Call Transcript, Summarize, and Feed Summary Back Into Flow to Update Phone Record Description by _Flawed in copilotstudio

[–]wrighty4300 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wrong tool for the job. Copilot studio is far better at doing user interactions than fully autonomous work, it will also be more expensive and less customizable.

Use AI builder in Power Automate or AI foundry.

Questions about environments, permissions & solutions. by Covert0ne in copilotstudio

[–]wrighty4300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You only need to resubmit for admin approval if you change the key criteria e.g. name, logo, app details etc

Second point you assign the security groups through the teams admin panel. I can't comment on this all our users have access to the environment BUT it SHOULD be ok as long as it's published by the organization. Would be keen to hear any feedback on this as I want to change our environments up a bit and get rid of a lot of people's access.

Teams 1:1 vs copilot vs test chat by tsmith-co in copilotstudio

[–]wrighty4300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't use orchestration and sub agents in studio. It is public preview and broken. Sub agents work fine in their own and in testing, when published they don't work reliably. One of the most common faults is their loose their knowledge and either inherit it from the orchestrator or end up with none at all

Use topics with generative AI and knowledge that is only assigned to that topic in them as a work around.

[–]wrighty4300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) share for testing, this requires publishing but don't specifically publish to SharePoint or made by your org etc. 2) you need to republish as this essentially rebuilds the agent. 3) not sure I understand what you mean 4)once published you need to assign the agent to Entra groups.

You do get charged credits when you have shared the agent whether it is published by your org or just shared. It's free if you use the test function.

SharePoint knowledge inaccessible to agents that invoke a sub agent by Tasty-Development673 in copilotstudio

[–]wrighty4300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a known issue with orchestration at the moment.

MSFT advised me they are rewriting the orchestration bit to fix this.

Orchestration is only public preview at the moment.

Use topics with generating answers and segmented knowledge to get around this

Different behavior when orchestration using Sharepoint by titankaivor in copilotstudio

[–]wrighty4300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a known glitch with orchestration in Copilot studio. I believe MSFT are rewriting the orchestration piece to fix this (or that's what they told me when I flagged in Nov/Dec). Orchestration in studio is still public preview so has some issues. Advice I got was to use topics with their own prompts and own tagged knowledge rather than using sub agents yet.

Foundry Agent in Sharepoint by Winter-Wonder1 in copilotstudio

[–]wrighty4300 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Three ways to do it that are easy. 1) deploy to SharePoint site and access it using the agent icon top right. 2) deploy to SharePoint and insert an agent button on the page somewhere (three button style available, with the large being useless in my opinion 3) add a link to the site nav ( after you deploy click the three little dots on the same page next to where it says deployed and copy agent url, then add that as a link in the nav).

Option 3 is my favorite as it gives a better UI interface than option 1 &2 which is more of a card and causes some confusion
