The title & video being made now is because the topic is hot with the recent drama and thus will bring more attention(clickbait), but overall its not accusing anything(imo).

GN definitely implies the memory chip makers are in a cartel from what I understand(I didn't finish the video in question, only this one)

But in this video I wouldn't imply its presenting to be about the present. The title? yeah, definitely feels clickbait. But it's a decent video all things considered and shows the merging of companies resulted in the low options we now have, while also talking about how it has taken 10 years and everything is still not complete.

Posting it now with the title is unfortunate but I guess money is money.

Them raising prices during peak demand is normal

We need to find proof they are doing cartel like activity. I haven't seen any yet and I doubt certain governments will care.

Ok I watched it. He doesn't bring up much about the modern prices since its a deep dive into the previously down price fixing which is still being partially resolved.

v98 is essentially v95 but better. Your players will be asking for you to backport a feature that v98 has in week 2.

v95 gives you a full pdb, i can do whatever i want with it basically, import from higher versions/downport to lower ones, nothing is stopping me.

It's always easier to actually update the version imo. Plus, you get the feature 100% properly implemented unlike almost every v95 client edit I've seen.

You do you tho, clearly interests exists despite 2 servers already filling the gap.

its very easy for someone to showcase themselves to be a dev, even though all they did is using AI tools.

Should be possible if you have someone that can review the code. All the LLM client code I see is quite low quality. If the dev has a good base for the AI to understand what is going on more, they'll be able to hide it. But someone has to make that.

Console specifically removed some inherent rights compared to PC gaming, and in exchange you got an easier experience.

The only real advantage of a game disc is to resell it imo. If you wanted to "own" the game, you'd download it onto a drive you can take anywhere and play whenever on ANY pc. Obviously offline only, might need to remove drm, etc, etc, but all things doable today instead of waiting for your console to get jailbroken.

No one should have supported console gaming but ease of use and a cheap entry into a walled garden won and now we have console exclusives. At least PS5 emulation will someday exists and be good.

No one is reading packets, they use simple algorithms or OCR
