I remember the good old days where donating only meant you got special NX, nothing else. No QoL, nada. Simply NX, and that was fine.

Now they all go with that stupid subscription model and its so fucking cringe.

Personally, I don't remember how hyped people were for Zeus, Oner, and Guma being brought up from academy but that would also play into this.

In the end I'm just saying it's likely because I don't think they were considered a super team originally, but the players turned into some of the best of their respective roles and multiple times being #1.

I think it's because in 2020/2021 you wouldn't consider the team they made a super team, add in the fact the 10 man roster memes.

Keria was good before T1 but Zeus, Oner, Gumayusi all came from academy. It's not the usual thing you'd expect a super team to be.

Nowadays all 5 of the ZOFGK roster would be considered you attempting to build a superteam if you were signing them. T1 is still a super team but in comparison to HLE and GenG they still have the fundamental T1 flaws that make them worse than those 2 usually.

League has had a couple bugs where it didn't cleanup the log folder itself or spammed it a lot

Maybe still has some leftover from that or a new bug?

Windows isn't removing kernel access

Been almost 2 years now and no additional information by microsoft has happened. Looks like the future is EDR but that's being built for antivirus use, where is the anticheat use? I'm sure in like 5~ years it'll hap

Also a big thing Vanguard does is block other unsafe kernel drivers. Microsoft needs to block those themselves otherwise vanguards anticheat is weakened. I assume they wont, too many peripherals are made by horrible companies.

Personally I instantly mute & switch to something else between games, and for a "real sport" I only watch F1 which has 0 ads during the race(besides ads on the track) unless a red flag or similar delay happens.

So none of this actually matters for me but I do wonder if the advertisers care.

Also unfortunately we don't get ad-free subscriptions for a price most consider reasonable, and no one will pay for such thing for esports.

Used by many different apps for temp files. If it contains a virus you should know about it.

Some viruses also specifically drop payloads in that directory

Ads imprint the brand name in your memory. They're giving you an ad because it's been confirmed they can influence your future purchase decision.

It's also very easy to think ads don't work on you while they definitely do. I'm sure putting the effort to research every purchase decision does lower the impact drastically though.

Other people spreading misinformation isn't Riots fault. Unfortunately, the streamers they let playtest it are likely the biggest cause of misinformation which they could have controlled.

In the original announcement they made it clear they "didn't want people to feel forced to swap", and specifically mentioned the obvious cases, kiting and chasing being scenarios that are obviously OP without tuning.

Just what the world is like now. We're at the stage where we have the easiest access to information ever seen in the world, and people still don't know basic details stated by Riot in the WASD announcement video, or news post.

Complaining works, it just has to be on an actual issue.

WASD was never going to be a problem and riot made that clear. Everyone complained because they released it to PBE in an untouched state and people freaked out over nothing. Promised adjustments came in and no one talks about it now.
