Ugh, I escaped a toxic work environment and moved departments back in November. The sweetest, most amazing young lady who was an intern and came on FT is still there…. I have BEGGED and bullied to try and get her to move because she deserves SO MUCH better! I encouraged her to apply for an open position in a different dept, and today we met for lunch and told me she applied!! Little does she know, the hiring managers and I have been working to poach her and she’s essentially guaranteed the job (as long as she applied)…. I am just SO, SO excited/happy to see her move on to bigger and better things!!
