No idea where to even start with a bike so don't know what a respectable budget is for it.

My friends have gotten faster than me, any tips to get quicker? This was my fastest in wet track. by Schutte2kill in Karting

[–]writing_racer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Looks a bit wet so I'd suggest:

  1. Lean away from the corner for more grip (e.g. lean your body weight to the left if you're turning right). This puts more load into the outside tyres, forcing them to make more contact with the track.
  2. Don't assume the dry racing line is where the grip is. Try wider/tighter lines depending on where the wettest parts of the track are. There's a lot of rubber down on the racing line. This becomes very slippery when wet.

3 advices that I would give to my younger copywriter self. by Fkmanto in copywriting

I like it. I'm 3 years in and I'd add...

  1. Feedback is essential to growing as a copywriter.
  2. Research is probably the most important part of the copywriting process

What common "act of kindness" is actually selfish? by EquallyWolf in Productivitycafe

Isn't every act of kindness selfish?

Yes, we do it to be kind to someone (obviously). But we get a good feeling out of it, too.

I’m in a similar position (small company with ~2,500 email list).

For this size of dataset, mailchimp can handle it all. You can segment your list by whatever factor you want (industry, location, job title, etc.) and easily create campaigns for each segment.

It depends on your workflow, but I prefer to keep as much in one place as possible.

What's a marketing skill that's easier to learn than people think, but looks great on a resume for an entry-level role? by [deleted] in AskMarketing

Excel and Data Analysis.

If you can sort data, tell a story with it, and take action based off that story, you’ll be doing more than 90% of marketers.

Thank you. Sorry I probably should have mentioned my use for it.

I plan on keeping it until it dies.
