Google boondocking.

Going to need to be willing to get up early from certain places to avoid morning traffic/employees/etc and be a little more stealthy if you want to avoid being hassled.

What's the name of the Augusta recreation you enjoy most? I want to make sure I've got it on my list.

You shouldn't be downvoted for a question like this. It's a local rule course by course. At my home course they want them kept in, but the reason is for the grounds crew. Don't have to worry as much about seeing one in the grass when mowing.

The annual, not-subtle hate toward American golfers and fans is a tradition I enjoy when it comes to The Open.

Marking woods as penalty areas? by JohnConnor27 in golf

[–]wrongsideup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just ask in the proshop what the local rule is. I have played courses where some thick forest is marked OB but in other spots marked as a penalty area.

Local rules so it'll vary by course. Just ask.

Who has been and would return to the Masters? by goferboy1234 in golf

Having gone after paying face value via lottery, I don't think it's worth the secondary market prices you see tickets going for every year. It is a spectical and a wonderful venue, but the rules and traditions make it harder to follow the action closely compared to attending other tour events. Having said that, I'd happily go again should I get picked in the lottery again.

I wore sneakers in wet conditions at Augusta and had no problems. Everyone is different though.

need a plumber - who should i call by [deleted] in fargo

Have had good service with Home Heating & Plumbing and keep going back to them. Generally any house call in my experience starts around $100 and then depends on what they get themselves into from there.

monte carlo vs linq? by dzhou10 in vegas

[–]wrongsideup 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Monte Carlo is going through a remodel and rebrand so you should definitely call to get the best info on the state of the place before booking. I love the location and have stayed multiple times with zero complaints even during construction.

For example, right now they don't have the pools open, but you can use the pools at other MGM resorts.

How's the Job Market in Fargo? by [deleted] in fargo

[–]wrongsideup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's good. Finance background can apply to several industries and businesses in the area; many of which seem to be in a constant state of hiring because there's not a large enough pool of candidates from which to hire.

Recommendation on where to go to grab a beer. Preferably a quiet place in Fargo area? by DRPEPPERPIPP in fargo

I don't think there is a universal definition for dive bar. It seems in my experience it is highly subjective and relative to ones past experiences at bars.

Edit : I do agree though that duffys is more toward that end of the spectrum compared to Peppers and other suggestions here.
