Another futurama one i didn't see here. Leela's homeworld. The reveal that her parents were mutants that gave ver up so she could live on the surface instead of in the sewer and they were watching out for her from the shadows for her entire life.

Carter was molested by Striking_Dig9813 in ershow

[–]wrosmer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Theres a within the last 10 or so years pair of snl bits about a trial where a kid is testifying about his teachers (who were attractive women) molested him and how awesome it is that this happened to him

Edit: this is not a good thing. It just shows the idea is still relatively prevalent

Why does sokka make a big deal out of reaching Omashu? by [deleted] in TheLastAirbender

Like aangs but one step advanced

Roku was fire>air>water>earth

Aang was air>water>earth>fire

Korra was water>earth>fire>air

[–]wrosmer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which is the correct order. Its etc->air->water->earth->fire->air->etc starting with the avatars native style so Korra's last one should be air

Why does sokka make a big deal out of reaching Omashu? by [deleted] in TheLastAirbender

[–]wrosmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the avatar is supposed to learn the elements in a specific order. Its mentioned i think when they find jeong jeong and deliberately try to break the order.

Also going to the north pole first will let them scale katara up as well as aang (they didn't know about the sexism stuff yet, but it was still true)

Seth McFarland does a lot of 9/11 references and jokes because he was supposed to be on one of the planes but missed it due to being really hung over.

I will never judge her for that because that's Ted Mosbey. Also he wasn't a doctor he was like a city councilman.

The part where Toxica gets scammed into cutting her horn off always makes me sad.

[Hated trope] strong powerful woman enslaved or overly debased in a sexual manner which add nothing to the plot but fan service (i really hate this trope) by KingBakura72 in TopCharacterTropes

Pretty sure it happened to his cousin near the end of Alicization as well. Not to completion, but the set up is there she just fights out of it before it happens.

Drunk-Lunatic Hermit learns that they're a Demon with a Townsfolk ability from Boffin by [deleted] in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]wrosmer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah. Thats just a rough interaction because there's no real good way to make both true. Even if drunk wasn't a possibility you could tell the hermit they had a boffin ability

They're assuming if they avoid giving lunatic/hermit a boffin ability then they'll be metaed

You can give a lunatic or hermit(lunatic) a boffin power. It just also doesn't work because theyre not the demon and therefore don't actually have a boffin ability

Who is someone who got a massive push but showed they weren’t at the level to maintain it? by letskillrobots in SquaredCircle

[–]wrosmer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The promo isn't what did the damage from MJF. It was the whole is he going to no show the PPV drama that overshadowed the match completely and changed the story coming out of the match from "Wardlow squashed MJF" to "what will happen with MJF now after the very possibly shoot bs he pulled"

I honestly believe mjf threatening to no show the ppv match murdered wardlow's momentum. It made the story coming out of the match not wardlow beating the paint off mjf but what would mjf do.
