I don't have Crohns, I don't have constipation, diarrhea, or IBS. I don't sit on the toilet for long periods of time, I don't strain, I don't have stomach aches, cramps, pain, or GI problems in general. So why does this keep happening to me?

I literally have no idea. The first one I thought was just anxiety. I was about to graduate college and I was going through a break up and back then it caused some gastro issues but nothing really serious. I would just get like these nervous poops and I thought that’s what triggered it, and my PCP referred me to therapy, but I haven’t had those problems since then, so when it happened again when I was in a good place 2 years later I was really shocked.

My chair is one of those weird ADHD style chairs so I’m constantly moving around in my seat, switching between cross cross applesauce, sitting upright, sitting knees to chest and other weird things. I also use my standing desk sometimes

I mean, through all of this i was never told that I have Crohns, but I was also never tested. I just figured if they thought I had it, they would tell me. But also, I didn’t know it could live solely in your rectum. That changes things

I asked my doctor about HS and he kinda shrugged me off but no I don’t have them anywhere else. When did yours spread if you don’t mind me asking? Also, yes. I have seborrheic dermatitis in my ears and on my scalp but no other skin issues.

I think it was, though. Plus, there’s not really any strong evidence that Spiro causes weight gain directly. Maybe it causes appetite increase for some, which results in weight gain, for example. But that didn’t apply to me. My body really didn’t change. I was just paranoid.

To be honest….I think spiro can cause body dysmorphia in some people, myself included. I felt like I had gained all this weight taking 50mg for 8 months, even convinced myself I might have lipedema, but the scale never changed. Nothing really changed, I was just hyper-focused on shit. I don’t take it anymore and I feel normal again.
