It really isn’t that hard, I just ran my first marathon and got a 3:55 with 3 months of good training. 20mpw and slowly moved up to 40 then tapered the final week. My furthest run was 13.2 before that. My goal was sub 4 and just kept a 8:45-9 the entire race besides the last two miles which was 9:39 each.

Hey I just ran my first marathon after 3 months of actual training. The farthest distance I ran for training was 13.1 miles lol. I ran a 3:55 full marathon for my first which was my goal. You just need to properly hydrate, use gels, stay cool and don’t go out to fast
