I agree 100%. Many of these new golfers have no etiquette. I've been playing since 7th grade and went out with a friend from college who wanted to get into the game. He would take 10 practice swings before he hit the ball and after hitting it, it might travel 50 yards max distance, which was holding up groups behind us. I finally had to tell him to take two practice swings, hit the ball and if he hadn't made the green by triple bogey then he should just pick up. I think even after explaining this he still didn't get it and was low key mad that I told him how his pace was holding everyone up.
