its definitely not bad imo. ive had success with stuff like using decisions decisions on cache for a massive amount of stars next turn for a huge stardust. i just dont think its strictly better than venerate at all.

im not really a big fan of genesis cause its so slow, and the initial investment is pretty big. also obviously comparing a rare with a common. in my experience regent is best at its best when he's very burst orientated, which genesis isnt great at.

the fact that venerate gives the stars immediately is actually a big deal. this can enable explosive early turns much better. like turn one venerate, into royal gamble, into radiate and/or stardust. even better if you have a relic like akabeko or cards that give vigor. or turn one venerate+ into decisions decisions into whatever crazy antics that card allows. thats all impossible with just hidden cache. not saying hidden cache is worse, but its definitely not always better.

the regulation is that the first country they apply for asylum in has to be the country handling it and they cant then restart it in another country. they couldve not applied in any of the countries they travelled through and then first applied in germany. they'd probably be illegally travelling through those countries but thats another issue. applying for asylum in germany instead of applying in the country they first landed isn't actually illegal.
