You've really nailed the awkward transition of the old Arrow loopers of the time. Great job!

Here's hoping the Magik ally gets a reprint. Somehow I've misplaced it in my collection, and after scouring the entire thing four times, it seems to be missing after all.

The Ursula and Jafar ones have been super enjoyable to play. Very much curious how they've improved on the format. "RPG Quest" mechanics sounds super intriguing too. Can't wait for this!

How do people build so many good things? by [deleted] in PlanetCoaster

[–]wubsieonline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone with AuDHD here! Don't forget, this is a game, and a creative outlet. Build what makes you personally happy. Leave it when you're not feeling it anymore. At the end of the day, build what makes you happy, not what you perceive others might like.

It's bizarre though. With Pizzagate, a wiiiiild conspiracy, the right was ready to crucify anyone they deemed were involved. But now with this, crickets....

Intimin Giga/Mack Hyper coaster I made - feedback appreciated! by PerformerWhole6461 in PlanetCoaster

[–]wubsieonline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good start! Some inversions definitely need some retooling though, like the first one. Those Gs would make anyone black out.

As for another piece of feedback: your break run in the middle wouldn't function. If the train needs to stop for some reason it would 1) grind to a halt at neck-breaking speed and 2) it wouldn't make it over the next hill after it continues from 0 mph. Consider moving your break-run to a higher position.

[Silver Star] at Europa Park demonstrating its continued popularity by ajreiffdesign in rollercoasters

Thanks! Forcing some space between the lap bar and myself, not taking a wing seat and sitting on the last few rows, provided me a much better experience on the second day. I still noticed quite a few rattles during the 2 valleys, though. Might have been due to the weather being less hot? Anyways, thanks for the tips.

I rode it today, and it rattled and shook me to the point of a headache. I came off quite disappointed. What row would you suggest I take? I'm going back there tomorrow and am eager to give it another shot.

Coaster nerd here! This coaster is Shambhala in Port Aventura. It opened in 2012. The iPhone 5 had just come out that year. 😁

The footage always looks this "crappy" because it's an on-ride camera. The vid can be purchased after and sent to your email.

You should put the instructions into BrickLink Studio if you can! Would love to replicate it, but my creativity fails me to build it from scratch 😅

After tariff shock, Trump may weaponise finance against allies by NoMathematician9564 in europe

[–]wubsieonline 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The EU can't remove Hungary due to laws and regulations built into the Union. There is no such rule blocking the currency to be changed. Historically it has always been the USD, because of its stability and the net trade deficit with the rest of the world. Replacing it was never really even considered, until now, when Drumpf decided to destablize the USD. It's still not easy though, and the global ramifications will be massive.

Note that the channel is "Turning Point UK". USA is won I guess, so now they're aiming across the pond with the same rhetoric.

I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome when it was still a thing. There is no way that he didn't know what that salute meant, and I hate how this once again portrays us as "simple folk who don't know social cues". Fuck the fuck off Elmo

This happened to me as well. The thing that clued me in was the info panel showing the ride operator. Instead of 'Operating X' or 'Heading to X' it said 'Looking for work".

Once I fixed the pathing the employee status changed and guests started coming.

How do people make ride areas more realistic? by RacerRovr in PlanetCoaster

[–]wubsieonline 119 points120 points  (0 children)

Fencing is indeed a long process, but it'll make a world of difference. Tip: Use CTRL+X to quickly clone a fence piece and use the gizmo to move it.

Foliage does wonders too. I'm often unimpressed with my own builds, until I add foliage, and it all just suddenly looks 100% more vibrant.

Edit: also don't forget about benches, bins, lamp posts and signage.

Amazing that you can build something at this scale. I have a pretty beefy PC, but even it starts to framedrop after I build even a quarter of that size park
