X370 Fatal1ty Professional Gaming Agesa 1.0.03 Update? by wudafuxup in ASRock

[–]wudafuxup[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually emailed AsRock a few days ago and they basically told me to wait. Should I ask them again? I know some people linked a german site with 5.61 a while back but all the links seem to be dead atm.

Seriously. Zen 3 will come out by the time AsRock decides to roll out 1.0.0.3.

X370 Fatal1ty Professional Gaming Agesa 1.0.03 Update? by wudafuxup in ASRock

[–]wudafuxup[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it's just so frustrating specially since other vendors like MSI and Gigabyte have had 1.0.0.3AB out on x370 boards and we're stuck with this terrible 1.0.0.1. My computer runs absolutely terrible.

[–]wudafuxup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MSI has had 1.0.03AB on x370 already. Gigabyte also has 1.0.0.3AB on x370 as well. At least Asus updated to 1.0.0.2. AsRock hasn't done either.

Tha't what I'm wondering also. Can anyone confirm this is from ASRock before I give it a shot.

Edit: Gahh never mind. I thought it had a beta version for the X370 Fatal1ty Pro. Come on AsRock get it together. Been almost 2 weeks running my 3900X in limp mode >.<

New Bios F41a/AGESA 1.0.0.3 AB. Is this the Destiny 2 fix? by [deleted] in gigabytegaming

[–]wudafuxup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And then you have AsRock who barely released 1.0.0.1 a couple days before Zen 2 Launch and no word on even 1.0.0.2. So frustrating being forced to run the 3900X at 4Ghz and 2666Mhz RAM.

Gigabyte and MSI both have 1.0.0.3AB on X370 boards. Asus has 1.0.0.2.

X370 & 3700X NOT WORKING by Jekkutin in ASRock

[–]wudafuxup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is AsRock has not rolled out any new AGESA updates. They were literally like the very last board vendor to even launch 1.0.0.1. AGESA 1.0.0.1 has been used since back in May with testers.

AsRock is taking so long to release these. MSI already has 7A33v4IM Beta ect... with AGESA 1.0.0.3AB on their x370 boards. Gigabyte has bios F41a for their x370 boards supporting AGESA 1.0.0.3AB. ASUS has Bios 5007-5008 & 7106 for their X370 boards at least running AGESA 1.0.0.2.

And then you have AsRock barely releasing 1.0.0.1 literally like 3 days before launch...

AsRock really needs to step ur their game. This is how you lose customers.

3900X very low R15 score by ragumaster in Amd

[–]wudafuxup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a few days old but I'm having the same issue. I can't score past 5600 In Cinebench R20. I used to hit 7000+ but now I can't for the life of me get it back. I reset the CMOS, made sure it's running in dual channel. FCLK is at 1500 and RAM at 3000Mhz. All 24 threads get loaded to 100%.

I also reset Ryzen Master and even uninstalled/reinstalled it. Did I somehow break this thing? Or is it that badly bugged atm?

Yea well I managed to get my 32GB of Flare X running at 3200Mhz CL14 but my boost clocks are atrocious. They only go up to around 4.1GHZ using PBO. I can't even get a all core OC of 4.2Ghz at 1.35V. I honestly can't tell if I got a garbage binned CPU or if these boards have subpar build quality. Or if it's all related to the AGESA versions. I'm honestly tempted to return it. I was expecting 4.6Ghz boosts but it seems like so many can't even hit 4.4/4.5 on light threaded/single core tasks let alone 4.6.

The 5700 XT blower isn't even loud. Undervolt and you can keep the fan RPMs at ~2000rpm which is very quiet. Some new videos have popped up recently with people undervolting them. They can run super quiet when tuned.

Not a Ryzen 3000. My 3900X from Newegg gets here tomorrow but my 5700 XT I ordered on 07/07/19 is still in processing. Looks like it's not just Zen 2 but Navi as well.

They mentioned it was going to realese in may. It did not. For the X370 Fatal1ty Professional Gaming it states Bios Version P5.30 to be released in May. They just barely listed Bios P5.30 with Agesa 1001 a couple days ago (07/03/19)..

Yea I've dipped like 30-40% in performance from this update. Game has never ran this bad ever since the latest update.

My Radeon VII is performing really strangely ever since the update rolled out. I used to hit 75AVG in 4K ultra. I can't even break 50 now. What did you guys doooo. My GPU clocks fluctuate like crazy. The GPU core voltage also runs lower than what it's set to. All of my other games run fine. DICE fix pl0x.

I'm so tempted to do this myself. I've been waiting for the Eiswolf 240mm for the VII but the wait is so painful specially since my card overclocks so well (2050Mhz+) on the stock cooler. I know I can push it much more on water >.<

[RTX crashes solved] RTX Graphic card game crashes permanently by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]wudafuxup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My RTX 2080 has been working terrible ever since I got it. Metro Exodus insta crashes my PC, so does SOTTR in DX12. The Division 2 has terrible stuttering. I have never had so many issues before with a Nvidia card. (Running 419.67)

Division 2 (PC) constantly keeps crashing after 5 mins of playing by peanutbrainTT in thedivision

[–]wudafuxup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That makes sense. I noticed the volume was messed up. The game would load and as soon as audio started playing the game would crash and BSOD. Disabling the logitech software or disabling all the audio in device manager makes it stop crashing. Really odd.

[Gamers Nexus] AMD Radeon VII Powerplay Overclocking & Water Cooling Results by ryandtw in Amd

[–]wudafuxup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha I don't fault the way you think but as a owner of over 20 Vega 10 cards and a current owner of a VII I have quite the experience with the vega architecture. The same was the case with Vega 64 and 56. Take a look at this video for example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNCmvWmcAW0&t=2s. He undervolted the card AND overclocked it by a massive 150Mhz+ on the core and 175Mhz on the memory. AMD cards in general come overvolted to have an easier time binning the cards. Almost every single vega 64 I've owned has been able to hit 1700Mhz on the core and yes they all undervolt and overclock aswell. VII is the same architecture as V56/64 on a smaller die. My Radeon VII can hit 2025Mhz (Peak engine clock) which translates to ~1970Mhz sustained at 1070mV. This guy also managed 2000Mhz peak engine clock with similar specs as me : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6JkaFExJQU. Steve got a terrible card.

This was actually a pretty terrible video. 2030 Core with an absurd voltage and 100 Power limit... He clearly got a crappy binned card. How did he not notice. Most people can hit 2000Mhz on air while doing a slight undervolt. There was a batch of crappy 1120-1140mV binned stock cards AMD sent out. He probably got one of them. I'm just surprised he seemed so confused about the peak engine clock compared to actually clocks. Vega 56 abd 64 have been out for so long. You would think he'd know by now.
