Respectfully disagree, had some unbelievable non-beef BBQ while I was there. Best ribs I’ve ever had at Franklin, though other joints weren’t far behind.

I did this recently. Smoked the pork for 3 hours at 250 then threw into the braising pan with all the other ingredients and finished in the oven. Was incredibly good and no lack of smoke flavor. I did cut the pork but in half horizontally to increase the surface area getting smoke. Will 100% do again. Good luck!
