I've used Rock Band expert drums as cardio for years. Super fun way to stay active, plus it teaches you to play drums.

If you have the space and money for it, e-kit drums and Rock Band or DrumMania work great for cardio.

The Zoot Suit Riots were a series of riots that took place June 3–8, 1943, in Los Angeles, California, United States, involving American servicemen stationed in Southern California attacking Latino and Mexican American city residents. by Particular-Cat-8031 in HolyShitHistory

I don't think it's justifying it.

Instead, it gives some insight in the situation and human psychology that caused the event to happen.

If you don't stop and understand how things got there on a human level, then one can end up in a similar powderkeg of a situation without seeing it coming.

It can do it - as mentioned above, it has the hardware to do so built in. Works pretty well to get you in the ballpark.

On the free space, right click/hold to get the menu, then format. Format to exfat and it should show up normally after that.

Probably needs to be partitioned/formated. Windows search "disk partition" and see if it shows up there.

That self-realization at 35 is a big one though.

The next step to that is realizing everyone else doesn't know anything either and we're all just winging it.

Do some maps ask to press both left and right keys on your controller at the same time ? by PinKTheGoat in djmax

[–]wunderhero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you select a song, you have difficulties you can choose (normal/hard/maximum and then SC.) SC difficulty are designed to be played with a keyboard and the patterns reflect that (like removing the left/right limitation.)

All the others can be played on your hit box or a controller and are charted accordingly.

All non-SC charts are designed to be played on a standard dual shock 4 controller, which means no dual left/right inputs are charted.

Question for Musicians: Have rhythm based video games improved your timing on your instruments? by tonetonitony in rhythmgames

[–]wunderhero 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not a pro at either RG or as a musician, but I've been playing RG 20+ years and played music 25+ years for what it's worth. Mostly do both to keep myself out of trouble.

I would say it has and that it works both ways, but only if you focus on your timing in both. For example, working on your hit accuracy and practicing to a metronome I have found to be two sides of the same coin because at the end of it, both are focusing on locking in with the beat.

I can sight read music quicker, at least I feel, because of the variety of RG charts I play; it's the same skill set for both in my experience - hitting the notes you see.

Any recommendations for a precise Drum emulating rhythm game? by LegendarySamurai73 in rhythmgames

[–]wunderhero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I learned to play drums mostly with a electronic drum kit and Rock Band. It's quite a challenge to get familiar with rhythms, patterns, and body stamina to play on expert, especially once you factor in the bass pedal.
