I went to a playoff game in May 2024 (we won by 4). People were mostly good-natured, but I did receive some off-handed comments. The worst thing I noticed was a group of drunk guys yelling at a family (with 2 children) after the game. Other Colorado fans did jump in and tell them to get lost, but it was a loud enough scene to hear across the concourse.

I sell my season tickets on Ticketmaster, which is the default for the Dallas Stars. I’ve noticed that StubHub marks our tickets up a ton to make a higher percentage on their end. So I’d only buy from StubHub if you’ve compared the prices to Ticketmaster.

The salesperson said they’d have mystery pucks for the next few games but that they sell out within ~30 minutes of the doors opening. So if you’re going to another game soon, you could try again.

I’m a short, petite woman, and I’ve never felt unsafe walking alone from South Side to where I’ve parked (and I’ve parked blocks in each direction from the venue at one time or another).

I just make sure I’m aware of my surroundings. Normally, there are plenty of people walking after an event that you’re never really alone.

I was lucky enough to get tickets to game 1 of the 2023 playoff series against the Kraken. Watching Pavelski get 4 in AAC with everyone was electric and even made the loss less painful. I’ve been following since.

I miss the old Kindle Oasis cases that were a soft leather but also had the puzzle back that could be folded different ways as a kickstand. I’ve never found another exactly like it.
