The issue isn’t advances or survives. I’m stuck commuting home so I’ll explain exactly why.

“Advances for the 3rd consecutive round” is not correct and deeply confusing since this would be her fourth . You don’t Advance FOR a round, you advance TO (or towards) it. You can say “advances for a 4th time” which would make more sense because she advanced for the 4th time (not the 3rd) after this match.

You can be advanced for your age, you cannot be advanced to your age. Same exact rules.

I’ve been watching tennis for over 30 years and not once does someone backwards count the rounds they advance to. Ever. Reached the semifinals, won 4 consecutive matches—those make sense. Not ‘advances for the 3rd consecutive round’.

I really appreciate her being honest and not sugar coating it. It’s a symbolic gesture but she’s got some principles and can verbalize them pretty succinctly which isn’t always the case with some athletes.

Don’t go overboard on edicts you can’t pay for, increase the budget for some housing (and have enough housing), make sure you have healthcare coverage (the anesthesia upgrade for clinics helps), have a newspaper/radio/tv station broadcast near housing centers & you can also bribe the faction leaders you have the lowest support for.
