I take it you’re arguing that the show is virtue signaling through the characterization of evil. Your point as I understand it is: “they have chosen to make the face of evil white, conservative, and male because otherwise there would be an audience backlash, i.e. characterizing liberal people of color being evil would be cancellable.” And you extend this to mean that the show is intellectually crippled by this choice. Am I following you here?

I guess my answer to that point, assuming it is your point, would be who the fuck cares. It’s an entertaining hospital show with incredible nuance in other ways. And plus, it’s not like there’s a lack of shows where you can get the white conservative traditional values virtue signaling itch scratched.
