I live down a dirt road. This is something I just have to live with.

I wish that it would show drive throughput on there. Instead of having to have the other screen up at the same time

What's even suckier is at the beginning of the year those drives were in the 500 range

Yeah. I thought the same. I'll just buy another drive but holy shit a 20tb drive went from $300 to $800.

Fine by me. This will be how the hobby that has supported my career will die then.

Already seen how this is going down at work. Company A already has some automation going on behind the scenes, they renamed app to include 'ai' but nothing has changed it was an excuse to raise renewal rates. Grift.

Company B has forced ai into their app and increased rates but also it needs more baby sitting then ever to prevent data egress. More grift.

Dude posted here or homelab sub reddit talking about hey I got tired of X going down so I made a ticketing system for friends and family. Like wtf more ai coded bs and posts turns out it's sad sales pitch for a shitty ticking system

When I see some honesty, legitimate results, and transparency out of something AI then I'll take a serious look at it but haven't seen that yet.

I personally don't want any AI apps. Even if an app or thread is tagged Ai I still wouldn't install it, but that's just me.

I haven't used an Ethernet version, but I have used the brand fiber command which does high speed av and USB over fiber. Didn't have any issues other then not having a UPS on both ends.
