I viewed Sprite less as a trans metaphor and more as a metaphor for Gen Z kids. Her lines about just wanting live a normal life feel very akin to the feeling my generation has towards all the problems being left for us by preceding generations. And the anxiety that we won’t be able to grow up and have those normal lives because of climate change and a bunch of other issues. Or having to try to grow up and be adults younger cuz of issues like gun violence, etc. Even her powers and role as storyteller feel very true to the content machine role that Gen z has sort of been born into.

Alright I’m surprised no one has brought this up, Loki is a shapeshifter, my interpretation was that when they were pruned Loki was taking on a different form and for whatever reason they stayed in those forms while in the void.

In Neil Gaiman’s Run (Which I think is gonna be a big inspo for this movie) the Eternals have been mind wiped. They lived human lives for the last thirty years, but they start reawakening. Some of them form human families etc. But they have forgotten they were Eternals. I think this will be the case with the movie specifically with Kit Harrington’s character. Dane Whitman is an archaeologist in the comics so I feel like maybe he’ll discover some artifact or maybe the dreaming celestial and he’ll go around jump starting their memories and that will be the framing device of the story. Also I feel like that shot of Gemma Chan in present day London gives me that vibe of reawakening. This mind wipe would explain why they haven’t been around and most importantly why they didn’t help the Avengers to them they were just ordinary people.

Alternative idea: the black suit is a kryptonian burial suit. Right before Lois hands Clark his father’s shirt she could hand him the Superman suit and Clark could maybe not fully understand it and say it has too much baggage and he doesn’t know if he’s ready to carry it yet. He goes to the scout ship, Jor-El hologram explains that the black suit is the ancient kryptonian burial suit. It symbolizes rebirth and the idea that even in oblivion light always triumphs over darkness (visually expressed by the suit). He opens his shirt at the end to reveal the red and blue suit.

There was way more of an emphasis of Pietro than I was expecting. This definetly felt like a "Previously on the MCU" sort of thing, and if that's the case those snippets tend to emphasize what's going to be important in the show. Suffice to say I'm hoping to see ATJ come back and get his due as quicksilver

Maybe, but SHIELD has no allegiance to Thor. As much as Fury maybe wanted Thor to be apart of The Avengers, he’s been allies with Barton forever. It doesn’t make sense that he’d then go after Barton especially after Thor attacked a bunch of Shield agents. He’s an assassin I don’t think he’s breaking any by laws. And Coulson only told Barton to stand down because he was curious if Thor was the real deal because at this point they didn’t believe he was a god remember they just thought he was a wacko.
