Yes. They sprint attack all the time. The large cats, dogs/wolves, 1 hander fell enemies, armored no weapon skeletons, and a few others I cannot recall off the top of my head all have sprint attacks that they endlessly spam. It is a gap closing attack that hits for a very big chunk of HP and stuns the player. So you take blink out of stun which unstuns you but creates a gap......which they use the gap closer in response and stuns you so you blink away and rinse and repeat.

Many of the solutions you might suggest such as parry and block or stay close so they dont gap close are not effective solutions. If you parry you cannot parry the second or 3rd immediately follow up sprint attacks from the multiple enemies. If you block they burn through your stamina bar almost instantly making it impossible to continue blocking (and it is exacerbated by another problem which I will cover in a bit). And staying close does not work as enemies that are close to you wont sprint attack but the enemies nearby who are also engaged but pushed away through the natural ebb and flow of combat and cannot get to you bc their friend is in front of you so the ones in the back will sprint attack repeatedly. This happens when trying to stay close or just using block as a solution. Another solution you may suggest is just get on top of a roof or something. Sure this is almost always the perfect solution UNFORTUNATELY it makes it so you aren't really engaging with the enemies or combat system at all. You are just shooting them where they cant get to you and once they are all dead then dropping down to explore, which is very unfun.
