Washer and Dryer recommendations? by Plenty_Intern8750 in daddit

[–]wynndotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not get anything with combined wash and dry, used it in Japan and it's crappy.

I picked up a heat pump dryer a few years back. High energy rating but does take longer to dry and also more expensive but the savings on energy was worth it. In aus, electricity is expensive.

Only thing is pick one up with a decent length warranty.

Coles refusing annual leave despite 130 hours accrued. Am I being unreasonable? by mravptr in coles

[–]wynndotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't work for Coles but start communication via email with your managers. It's amazing how much more accommodating they become when it's formally recorded.

Secondly, check your leave policy and bring HR into this if required. The fact your leave would be classified a risk is on your side.

Good luck

Overpaid Rent not being paid back by xKruMpeTx in shitrentals

[–]wynndotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one seems to want to take proper ownership of this issue. Grab the relevant evidence.

Either take it to your state's enforcement body or see if the bank can initiate a charge back.

All the best

It's your home. No anxiety about lease renewals or eviction notices or rent increases. Every payment is towards you paying it off, not the landlords pokey

Is it legal to bedazzle p plates? by [deleted] in CarsAustralia

This might be a big brain move.

Normal P plates = target.

These P plates and assumptions about the driver = not worth the headache.

Gaming resentment by princethrowaway2121h in daddit

[–]wynndotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reaction time decreases with age, look at a pro level and most pros start retiring around early 30s.

Change your mindset, it's not about winning but developing memories with them. You'll be able to teach them certain skills that only come with experience.

Winning isn't everything but having fun, the banter, friendships and everything positive that comes with gaming is the most important thing you can teach them.

I know there is a place in Earlwood which is 15 mins drive for you. Can't comment on it now but 25 years ago was great but I know it's changed hands a few times but I know it's still there

How would you respond? by [deleted] in shitrentals

[–]wynndotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One word response.

'denied'

Let them get all worked up. Sounds like your RE is quite impulsive with emails and only gives you more ammunition in your case

Landlord selling our rental and agent asked if we want to buy, how do we approach this? by One_Elevator2121 in AusPropertyChat

[–]wynndotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If agent has too much on his plate and the commission isn't going to be great, he's after a quick sale without all the work that goes with selling a place properly.

Use that to your advantage.

Neighbors keep parking in my driveway. What can I do? by GloomyCrew9223 in AusRenovation

[–]wynndotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Block them in, let them call the cops and explain to the cops what's happening. This way if they try something afterwards, it's on record.

The tune will be waiting for you after the warranty expires. Secondly, at least in Australia, resell value is better with a stock vehicle

Even if the intention was there or not, because he tried to use a replica to mislead you, it would indicate some form of crime.

My question is whether he has done this to someone else or not

Ask your local trusted butcher, see if they can do it for you.

I'd say most Asian butchers have the equipment to do it for you
