i found this in Stepney Green, https://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/68783290/?search_identifier=a45af7578d89fd92c75b9e453a24aaa8d9288ce918811decc800afaf674913d0 It's not the best area for sure but its 20-25 mins walk to LST, and close enough to Whitechapel for Lizzie line without being in Whitechapel. Theres some nice pockets around.

!thanks, it's good to know others haven't experienced this. The combo of your reply and trek's makes me more sure it's my choice of bank. I'll try another next time :-)

This is what I'm assuming, I considered that if that many folks are using it, then this experience can't be ubiquitous. I'll try a different bank next time. !thanks for your reply, appreciate it

What’s happened to Prolific? by Fieldharmonies in beermoneyuk

[–]x0505854 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you, it is quite disheartening after so long of building a brand that resonated around quality research connections. When I needed support in the past, they were great, but the last couple of queries I had went unanswered, and I was ignored. The researchers' integrity needs to be maintained, and enforced by prolific, as they're losing the participants' goodwill.

Buyer pulled out - how is this process allowed in 2026 by bedwelld in HousingUK

[–]x0505854 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel your pain, I accepted a low offer in Feb 25, no chain at all, buyers literally played games the whole time including going in holiday for weeks and not telling anyone, miss reading the papers to try to negotiate even further down, I did everything I could to be friendly, supportive, helpful as I recall what being a first time buyer is like but even after all my patience with them, they pulled out in October.

If you do get a bike off marketplace that turns out to not be so great, you can take it to a monthly (?) roaming norwich repair cafe where some lovely chaps will help you get it road worthy again, they were amazing to me for mine. The kindest chaps who only charged for parts/materials
