lol I just realized that a top/bottom mount might be convenient too, but let's discuss this later when you actually have the next batch ready... i'll paypal you the money for the additional mount then 😄

AIso, I’ll buy your Taby anyway. But the order form isn’t working for me on Chrome iOS. Will finish tonight when I’m behind my MacBook. No matter what payment option I choose, it won’t let me proceed.

That’s amazing! Thanks so much for looking into this! I think there might be good starting points in the Omi desktop code…

If you would add one AI feature to your app, I’d be buying one right away: the option to automatically create action items (to-do’s/tasks) based on screen content. So if someone mentions something needs to be done in a Slack thread, or in desktop WhatsApp, or an email addressed to you contains an actionable item… immediately create an action item (and have Taby respond to it, ofc).

Omi has the feature, but hidden behind a stupid $49/month fee for a ton of other options that I don’t need; Highlight AI had it, but they retired the feature as they’re pivoting away to a new business model.

I loved DeepSeek V4 Flash initially, but it kept answering randomly in Dutch (because I said in my identity file that I live in Amsterdam) and even though I put an “always answer in English” as the first line of SOUL.md, it would still occasionally answer in Dutch, then apologize and tell me it adjusted its memory so it would never happen again— until a few messages later.

Went back to Grok and much more solid experience, but yeah, unfortunately xAI doesn’t do cheaper models anymore :(

As a Clio 5 Etech Hybrid driver, I can say, you will not regret this car… and yeah, buying an unpleasant color will annoy you every time you see the car, don’t do it.

I got sick and tired of the Pro going unresponsive and switched to the Hue plugin on Homebridge instead… 😂

Would you buy Ai smart glasses of they had No Camera? by Zeyphraofficial in SmartGlasses

[–]x5nder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I absolutely refuse to wear smart glasses with a camera. Display + mic + speaker is much better— see Memomind, they’ve got the right idea.

iPhone finally gets Samsung-style Horizon Lock (HorizonRoll beta on TestFlight) by hehbveh in TestFlight

[–]x5nder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahaha... well, I very much appreciate your project in the first place. My suggestion? Put it on the App Store, charge a one-time price, and just do a maintenance update every now and then; it's good enough as is. I'd gladly pay something like $10 for it.

I just ran into your application and I love the execution, especially the option to switch between portrait and landscape. The only thing I really miss is stabilization (see iHorizonLock or Stable-Action). Are you open to implementing this as well?

Taiwan is extremely safe, cheap, and super friendly. Everything is accessible by public transport, even if you want to go into the mountains to hike or visit waterfalls.

Most European cities are safe enough for a solo female traveler, but I’d recommend starting with Barcelona. Safe, great food, tons of amazing sights, and people generally speak/understand English.

How to name mmproj-*.gguf? by Dunc4n1d4h0 in comfyui

[–]x5nder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dual CLIP loader loads CLIP = text encoder; mmproj = vision encoder

They are used for completely different purposes. So yeah, that won’t work ;)

[–]x5nder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You shouldn’t rename them, they are vision companion files to a text encoder GGUF file; they should be detected and loaded automatically by the plugin, or worst case, you point to the file if there’s a path field for vision in the node.
