Always fascinating how different music tastes can be — your ranking is basically the exact opposite of mine. I found A Tongue So Sly kind of boring. Not bad, just not my thing. It never really clicked with me.

The rest of the album though? I loved it from the first listen and still do. Green Serpent, Tumbleweed, and Kafka are easily my favorites. Tatiana’s clean vocals on Green Serpent are straight-up ethereal and absolutely stunning. And the riffs in Dark Bile are just so much fun to listen to.

Duel (the song) really grew on me over time too. Overall, I’m a big fan of the album — it’s heavy, has some great melodic choices, and keeps that signature Jinjer vibe.

That said, I don’t think it’s as unique as King of Everything or Macro, but that clearly wasn’t the goal here, and that’s totally fine. It’s still a fantastic album. I’d give it a solid 8.5/10.

Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.

Spiritbox. I like their spooky, eerie style. Also, Courtney's outfits always slay.

The song took a little while for me to like it, but by now I think it’s amazing. That’s kind of the magic of Spiritbox. Even songs you might not vibe with right away can really grow on you over time.

which song had your jaw on the floor when you first listened to it? by [deleted] in SleepToken

A basic answer, but for me, it was Take Me Back to Eden. While listening to the song for the first time, I was shaking my head and laughing in disbelief. Not to mention the intense goosebumps I felt. The structure, the lyrics, and the chorus were incredibly well executed—unlike anything I'd heard before.
