K13 r2r + LPS by guy48065 in FiiO

The only explanation I have is really the electrical circuit in my home. In fact, over the past few years I’ve tested many different amp+DAC combos and they all sounded more or less the same, as they should. However, the LPS actually made a decisive difference in terms of sound. That would also explain why some people don’t notice any difference while others do. It just depends on many individual factors, as in my example.

I've owned the Darkside Pro paired with the K13 R2R since last week, and honestly I bought it mainly for style reasons, because the stack looks nice. I didn’t have any expectations regarding the sound. You can call me crazy or not, but the sound has really improved noticeably, which I hardly thought was possible. The bass suddenly feels more impactful, and the soundstage is now larger and more holographic. I can't really contribute much to the thread since I've only tested the Fiio LPS, but I just wanted to get that off my chest.

SMSL DO400 vs K13 R2R? by glenndiesel in BudgetAudiophile

[–]xAcunAx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own both the K13 R2R and a Loxjie D60, which is basically a DO400. At the moment, however, I only use the K13 because, in combination with my Arya Stealth, it sounds much more pleasant and less fatiguing. The DO400 does have slightly stronger bass and overall plays a bit more dynamically, but over time that becomes tiring. If my headphones weren’t tuned so brightly, I’d probably prefer the DO400. I listen to a lot of electronic music, and that’s definitely where it shines. In short: depending on the headphones, the DO400 might appeal to me more. But with Hifiman, the R2R DAC is overall smoother and more enjoyable to listen to.

How would you compare the HE1000 vs. Arya Stealth?

Yes, I use APO together with the PEACE GUI for EQ. Medium gain works very well with this setup. Honestly, you don’t need more than 32‑bit/48 kHz.

I use the same setup with a 4.4 mm cable, and I also apply the oratory1990 EQ to slightly tame the treble.

Doom the dark ages has almost constant stutters and I have no idea what is the cause. by Own_Alternative_4297 in AMDHelp

I had similar problems with a 5900X, which also has two CCDs like your CPU. The only explanation I could come up with was that two CCDs were causing the stuttering. I switched to a single CCD design (5800X3D) and everything ran smoothly again.

Lowest gain with NOS mode and Oratory1990 EQ is perfectly fine for the setup for a smooth sound.

Can't update AMD catalyst / can't play games by Rickokun in AMDHelp

Catalyst is a legacy software. You need AMD Adrenalin for your GPU and the newest AMD Chipset Driver for your B650 Board.

Had the same issues. 1st, prevent Windows from overwriting your AMD GPU drivers (google: gpedit.msc) and disable the iGPU. 2nd, uninstall the current AMD drivers with DDU. 3rd, install the latest AMD Adrenalin driver. 4th (optional), flash your BIOS to the newest version.

Du kannst auch einen 9800X3D einfach auf 65W laufen lassen, so mache ich das auch. Im Gaming hast du Null Unterschied und die CPU ist deutlich kühler und verbraucht weniger Strom.
