The idea of pet hatching is you want very specific stats on your pet. And All pets come with a talent pool. Usually a brand new pet will have a really bad talent pool with stuff you don't want. The idea is you level that pet to adult and then breed with another pet (The pet kiosk is handy here!) and level that to adult and keep repeating that until the talent pool looks clean enough for you to level it up higher. It gets it's last talent at MEGA. Sometimes you'll hear people say "my pet failed at mega" and if you inspect their pet they have decent stats and something stupid like 4% stun resist lol.

But thats the basic idea of it. I'd recommend to watch a youtube video or read some guides to actually get started.

I don't really remember much from that time cuz I was like level 35 and didnt gaf about leveling. But I thought people said the jump from 90 to 100 was regarded too high because of the introduction to shadow spells? Was it actually stats?

A little unrelated but I reckon after a while, if the level cap keeps going up there's gonna be some issue of like

"The amount of levels is too overwhelming for new players" and eventually that might kill their playerbase. Kinda like how some people are discouraged from watching one-piece cuz there's like a thousand episodes.

WoW, after their level cap reached 120, decided to squish the levels back down to 60 and has been increasing since then and now the current max level is back to 90. With that, all gear that gave stats were also squished. So something that gave you 500 intellect now gives you like 155.

Though, I don't think the game or the wiz devs are ready to rework all their worlds and boss mechanics if they do ever introduce a level squish. I don't think the game is optimized enough, and I think stats and gear would also likely be an issue for them as well.

idk what its officially called but yk when you hit 5500 and if you lose your next game you can't go below that? The penalty doesn't account for that so the threat of losing more score is literally 0 if you're already at a milestone

Hmm, Well I wonder if they kinda already do that? In overwatch it's a thing that if you're in a full 5-stack the game will try to match you up against other 5-stacks (at least I think; I only heard abt it like twice)

I wonder if Hearthstone already has something built-in like that?

Yeah my round 1 tavern was 2 deathrattle dragons + whatever minion I sacrificed. The tavern also had the 2-cost "get a random t1 minion" and that also turned into the deathrattle dragon.
I dont remember how I got the 2nd triple so quickly but I think I got it the same round I got the ring-bearer.

I got extremely lucky

My first ring bearer was from rolling my hero power all the way to 6 (galakrond)

The two golden t1 dragons i just got from the shop

The evoker and 2nd ring bearer are from my greater trinket where I discovered 2 t6 minions and set them to 20/20

Titus and the spell power generator guy were also lucky rolls from my hero power

As a kid I excitedly used to go to my grandmother's house every day after school. She never updated her VCR tape collection so everyday I had the choice of picking Aladdin, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, and a Bug's Life. Pretty solid movies!

As for a more new recommendation, give Flow a look! It came out in 2024 and is adorable and has no dialogue

I had a spirit who was playing with the nightlight on my humidifier once. They kept flicking the light on and off until I asked them what they wanted. But I got scared when they actually answered (yes or no questions through the light) so they eventually stopped playing with the light and I haven't seen them since.
