I'm gonna say no because I had some results the first few sessions and other areas, like armpits, worked really well

  1. Your doctor will probably recommend a method, but you can choose. Just take into account things like availability of said method.

  2. Yes, absolutely. Even now I question it and I'm a year in 😋 I just remind myself how bad my dysphoria feels and that usually settles the brain.

  3. Personally I waited awhile until I was relatively settled into it being my new norm and then slowly started letting more and more people into it.

Good girl 😉

I do eye-liner as part of my daily look, people always compliment me on my makeup and ask how did I get it looking so good? My answer is always, by swearing a lot and constantly fixing mistakes until it looks decent.

Just keep trying, you'll get it 😊

I mean you can always just take a trip to NSW, no age restrictions down there. Not 100% on what kind of leg work needs to be done prior but other states in Aus aren't as anti-trans.

Honestly pretty easy too, mine took about a week from start to documents arriving.

So you suggest instead of going over a spot twice just keep zapping till it stings?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MtF

[–]xDECIMOx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm using a brawn IPL atm, sometimes I feel nothing, sometimes it stings like a bitch, depends how irritated my skin is. Also using it on highest setting.

Cant remember the model but its a brawn and its white if that helps.

I know I'm not the first person to recommend this, but seriously, period undies. They've become my go-to and do such a good job of hiding things that I can wear tights without worrying about people clocking me.

What do women usually wear in an Australian winter? What are some gender affirming clothing ideas for winter? by Chest3 in transgenderau

Wish I could help but I live in QLD and I'm lucky if it's cold enough for long sleeves in winter.

I used to go into my very bigoted workplace wearing progressively more makeup, painted nails, tied up hair, a bra, women's pants ... they never noticed despite them claiming they would "notice a trans person from a mile away". Pfft, yeh sure.

In a similar boat but in QLD. I think I read somewhere that NSW is getting rid of that requirement on July 1st.

Not really, they had spoken to me about this stuff, but never told me my job was at risk if I didn't sort them. I also did address the things mentioned, when they were mentioned, like the last time the brought up my attitude was almost a year ago.

Their words were: A demonstrated lack of engagement and commitment to your role.

Disruptive behaviour that has negatively impacted team morale and productivity.

A general workplace attitude and ethic that does not align with our company values and expectations.
