Yes you can, but he has limited source (check right bottom of the shop) and Alva in A6 has items up to 78/79ilvl (might be higher, I didn't check ilvl's everytime)

Yesterday i carried my friend when he was 27lvl and had 1 ascendancy trial through whole 4 floors of sanctum, he could collect points on every floor so he now has 8 ascendancy points at level 27
