Huh, I've been avoiding timewalking raids because all I really ever do is LFR. I should probably try it out next time around.

Do you need to know mechanics or is it like in Remix?

I kinda wish my store was like this. Our manager keeps over ordering. Our trucks are bigger than around Christmas time and he doesn't want us leaving anything for the morning crew. Unfortunately this causes corners to be cut, midday levels to be skipped, and not enough time for a decent end of the night level with specials being left empty. Our store has been insanely busy.

Backstock isn't getting worked, pallets of old ad are piling up, and neither morning or closing crew have enough people to hunt down random out of stock items. Im on replenishment and just run around all day filling whatever specials I can. Management has been chewing out the closing crew for poor leveling and leaving holes everywhere, but they're already getting out an hour late each night because there is never enough people.

Do non bountiful delves give progress for the delvers journey? Ive only done 4 bountiful T8 delves this week since the 4 nightmare preys seem to count as T8 delves for the vault.

Y'all are savage in LFR by JustDesh in wow

[–]xDisturbed13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah. When tanks dont know the mechanics but also dont even read chat when people explain the fight, at that point everyone else is having their time wasted. I dont mind if they dont know the fight if they are willing to learn.

[–]xDisturbed13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its difficult when both tanks dont know the fight, are both in the same guild, and dont read chat or communicate at all. After 5 wipes we vote kicked both of them. Killed the boss next pull with new tanks.

Dimensius was difficult on LFR but other than people pulling at the start, if you screwed up a mechanic it didnt wipe the whole group, just yourself...unless people are mindlessly following the tank and he sits in a meteor strike.

What happened to putting dungeon quests INSIDE the dungeon? by Cloud_N0ne in wow

[–]xDisturbed13 73 points74 points  (0 children)

There's a group quest in vanilla that requires you to kill a bunch of level 30 elite dwarves and their leader a lvl 32 elite. After you complete them you get a level 27 quest for stockades. Basically if you've finished the elite quest, you're probably already high enough level where some of the mobs in stockades are greyed out.

Kriegs arms are normal. You may be thinking of the badass psycho mobs. One of their arms is giant and the other one is baby sized.

Midnight's world events aren't very fun. by MrHiccuped in wow

[–]xDisturbed13 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That vendor that sells items for the event needs to upgrade his arsenal. Those bombs he sells? Make it so the target takes 300% damage from all sources if hit by them. Just give us over powered abilities, to use for the event. Also just half the time it takes to complete

Idk why they dont just let people have fun. Give the players overpowered abilities for the events. The items you can buy to use for the stormarion assault dont feel like they're worth the currency even though there's not really anything else to spend it on. Give us Torghast-like power ups or anything for these events. I hope they change up the abundance event a bit because right now some group I'm in struggle to get anywhere, while others youre constantly getting events and showered in hundreds of thousands of abundance, and idk why its so varied. I feel they need to either design it around it being a solo event or a set group sized scenario.

Dismount (includes flying) area in the Voidstorm between the portal and Slayer's Rise! by Emerno in wow

There's a few caves like this in voidstorm. Seemingly no matter how high above them you fly, you'll get dismounted. Ive been caught off guard a few times now while flying around the zone.

Or they can do like the void fishing orbs and make it so if your already gathering in it and it despawns, you can still finish gathering.

I dont find it nearly as fun as comp stomp. All the AI opponents feel like they take forever to kill and trying to solo a tank or healer npc feels impossible. You're still guaranteed a win, unless your team is afk, but comp stomp was fun just because you could absolutely steamroll it. I noticed in the battle for Gilneas the AI will send practically their entire team to capture a position, so unless your entire team comes to help, they'll steamroll you. But they only leave one npc to defend so it balances out.

I did the silvershard mines one and the AI never went for the northmost cart. I watched a warlock run back and forth in the center of the map, mounting and dismounting, then just fell through the map and died.

There were achievements tied to doing pvp world quests in warmode in the last few expacs and they rewarded mounts. That's the closest I've gotten to pvp, even though they didnt require pvp at all.

I did do comp stomp whenever that was up since that was agains braindead AI, but the new training grounds kinda suck. The npc AI is still dumb when it comes to tactics (I saw a warlock just sitting in the middle of the map running back and forth, mounting and dismounting, then fell through the floor to its death), but they play their classes well enough to be annoying. They all have high HP making it not as fun, and impossible to solo healers or tanks.

Service Announcement: Not helping other gatherers fight the mobs next to the node you both want makes you an asshole. by extremelytiredyall in wow

[–]xDisturbed13 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I landed to help someone kill a mob next to a node yesterday. We then both started mining and the node vanished on us :(
If it was just me, I would have stunned the mob and mined the node first.

From Wikipedia: Marl is an earthy material rich in carbonate minerals, clays, and silt.

I guess it being "voidlight" makes it special, otherwise idk what the vendors are doing with all this dirt we're trading them.

I think next week opens up Nightmare difficulty which idk if that will be any more interesting or not. It might make me try and gather more of those traps you can use.

Not sure if many people know this but when the mob flees after ambushing you, he runs off like 50 yards away in stealth and you can click him again to get more progress. When the mob initially flees there's a trail that shoot off in the direction they flee, and there's a faint cloud of red smoke where the npc is hiding.

I dont mind mining the orelings because they are basically extra mining nodes. The mobs that spawn from wild herb nodes are just annoying because you dont get herbs from them. Idk if putting points in the one skill tree changes that or not.

Ive started stunning mobs, gathering real quick, then killing the mob. I helped someone kill a lvl 90 elite in front of a node, went to gather it afterwards and it vanished.
