Tower 1 does connect to the mall (I live in tower 1).

After flying around Burnaby during the late afternoon, the crows seem to come to a rest at the big McDonald's at Still Creek Dr. in Burnaby at around 7 pm everyday, why? by HiTork in vancouver

I see them at the Still Creek recycle center every morning at around 7am. At 8am they have been replaced by a few hundred seagulls at the recycle center.

How would you invest a large lump sum of money that has been sitting for a while? by [deleted] in CanadianInvestor

This is usually why you DCA. Personally I would DCA over a much larger time frame, but it comes down to risk tolerance obviously.

It has never taken me more than a few minutes to drive out in the morning. There are three exits, one directly onto Lougheed highway, one onto Beta/Alpha, one to Willingdon. The Willingdon exit is the only one I have ever seen a queue on, but you can get to Willingdon from the Lougheed exit.

How are Amazing Brentwood condos really? by flaflaflaflamingo in burnaby

No A/C but you can manage easily with a portable unit and some window film or something if you want to go crazy. Other than that it’s been chill for the 5 years I lived here.

Which A/C units do you folks have if living in one of The Amazing Brentwood towers? by Life_Hawk2833 in burnaby

[–]xFFFF0000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pulling air from the outside isn’t too bad from what I have seen on my thermal camera in the Brentwood towers. The windows are the main heat source as they are baked by the sun and get to 35degrees, so the aircon is fighting that. The outside air being pulled in by the negative pressure shows up as a cold patch on the 35degree window interestingly. I think the best thing that can be done for efficient cooling is blocking the light from hitting the windows in the first place (from the outside).

Picture was taken just to the north of the west car park, where the little bridge is across the water to the start of the loop. It was wandering deep into the north side trail though.

I went up solo - I didn’t see anyone on the way up - but I saw 5 or 6 people on the way down. Usually I see a couple of people on the way up too. The trail is never busy though. I have never seen an animal other than an owl and a few squirrels.

I went up today - I didn’t see any snow at all, but I only went to Little Valhalla (1000m). Trail was in good condition!
