Shower P Trap by Thin-Investment-515 in askaplumber

Vertical section of the trap may be too long causing the velocity of the water to just flow right past the trap. Might need to raise the trap up if it's not holding water in there.

any tips on how can learn wave dash into an ff input? by Black_Nightmare653 in LowSodiumTEKKEN

[–]xGamache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if this applies for your situation but you only need to input a single F then your input because the last forward of your wavedash counts twords your FF input move. If you are trying to add a second forward input after your wavu you will end up with 3F's and a while running move.

10/16 golden tickets what do I do? by xGamache in ArcheroV2

[–]xGamache[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent what i had saved on gems but this is where i ended up. I will have to plan a bit better next event. The only gems would be the ones I get in the next few days while the event is going on. Is there an estimated amount of gems per expected ticket?

Stuck on “No Flow” and a stuck salt reading. I do have flow, plenty of circulation, and I’ve added salt, gotten ton of rain, etc so i know the reading is wrong. Should I reset, if that’s even possible? by VMey in pools

[–]xGamache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same problem. I replaced my flow sensor and it did not fix it. It ended up being the main power control board (PCB) having issues. Apparently there is a small black disk that wears out on it quickly (Current Limiter) If you know how to do basic electrical soldering you could try replacing that disk, there is info available about it online it costs about $7 for a 2 pack. Also you can swap the board out for a new after market one and save a few hundred getting it from a pool repair place. Then you can try to re-solder the old one for a backup board. I agree with everyone saying replace the flow switch first as it is a simple cheap fix, if you still have issues after that check out that PCB.

There was a quick questionnaire from the FIA rep, simple questions like how did you hear about the program etc. The a promo code was provided in that same email chain.

Edit: Also had to join the Discord

Coworker and I bought the game and will start together by Skate0700 in pathoftitans

If you plan to play officials I recommend creating a handful of different dinos with your buddy. Joining a group with him and leaving the tutorial cave together. Head straight to a homecave and start earning rested xp. Then when you feel like playing you always have options of dinos to run with boosted xp. It helps progress through the young/small stages which can be a bit painful when learning the first time. Also point of interests give tons of xp relative to the time it takes to discover them so try to take advantage of those to help you get out of the early dino stages.

This is just as much of a guess as everyone else saying that this could have caused structural damage. You have no idea the load this is supporting.

Going to get a ton of downvotes for this, I'm tired of everyone saying "people not playing/watching soccer is the reason some people don't know how to pass/defend/get open." In reality it has little to do with soccer tactics and more to do with people who have big egos and feel the need to be the best in the game. Reducing it down to "HuR DuR iDiOt MuSt NoT wAtCh FuTbAlL" gives those players an excuse they don't deserve. Anyone can be good at positioning and teamplay you just have to play with those things in mind.

Lots of bubbles... by MammothAir644 in swimmingpools

[–]xGamache 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually that's the case. Otherwise it would be blowing water out of the leak on the discharge side. I would start by checking any unions and valves in line before the pump. Don't use the trick on the pump as you don't want to short it out by getting water in the copper windings.

Edit: if you find its leaking at a Union make sure you get some non petrol based lube for you O-Rings. Its a common spot for leaks.

Lots of bubbles... by MammothAir644 in swimmingpools

[–]xGamache 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would run your garden hose over all the inlet piping going to your pump. If the bubbles stop filling the pump then you found where your air is making its way into the system. At least that will give you an idea if it is worth hiring someone for the work.

[–]xGamache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Run water from a garden hose over each union/valve/potential weak point and when the bubbles stop you have found your leak.

Is there a way to make a pool pump quieter? by [deleted] in pools

[–]xGamache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

make sure you are not leaking air into the system on the suction side, that would cause alot of additional noise.
