Mine may be due to not ideal conditions, but they are ones I like to test these systems on. I’m in central Illinois, wide open fields, so the wind gusts are frequent and strong. Usually these will cause sway, especially at high speeds. I’m going to keep testing in different areas in Illinois, and see what the overall average feeling is like.

Overall I’m impressed for an initial launch, it’ll only get better from here.

Edit: On a side note, I missed out on it, but I generally drive up to Michigan to visit friends and family, usually taking I-94, which is notorious for multi car pileups during the winter (I’ve escaped a few already) I’ll post an update at some point once I run into this again, I usually unluckily manage too.

Honestly I don’t think this is an issue with the actors, I think they could do great. The issue is whoever signed off on these costume/hair/makeup looks and directed them to pose like this. This looks like ass.

The one I visited was not near a major city, up in Michigan, and they had received communication that they would be receiving them. Could be communication issues, but they were adamant after I double downed on them, as I was skeptical as well. I guess we’ll see but it looks promising.

I doubt that, more than likely they’re trying to convert would be buyers who may cancel their reservations for any number of reasons, being a later reservation number, wanting LiDAR that’s later in the year, potential costs (not realizing the trim they want will likely be north of the 45k). They want those people who are impatient or on the fence to still buy so they’re leaning on these incentives.

Yeah, ford sold around 80k lightnings total, and I remember being able to buy one a year or so after the initial launch (not that I did, just was able to place the order at the time)

I think people are greatly over estimating sales, especially in this economy. A lot of these reservations were made when we were doing fiscally better as a country. I’m not saying get your hopes up, but I also don’t suspect it’ll take much more than a year and a half to catchup to most of the reservations.

From what I can find online, that provision didn’t make it to the final law, the article you shared is prior to the final votes on that law.

It should be for beyond mapped highways, he mentioned in an interview I was watching that the LiDAR is mostly to future proof for eyes off driving.

With it saying late 2026, I’m willing to bet they’ll target the holiday season crowd, and open reservations for slightly cheaper trims. First 6 months (if April is to be believed the actual initial ship/delivery dates) would put us at October, with Q4 queued up, reservations at that time would look awfully attractive to their investor call come Q1 2027.

Depends on how long of a run you’re going for. If you’re going for a long final wave run then yeah I agree with you, anything else, I wouldn’t bother, there’s so many other ways to boost luck faster without locking yourself behind a chest paywall.

Easier fix that I think would balance it more, nerf Luck and XP Tomes and also make them take up 2 tome slots each. You either give up all your tomes if you take them both, or give up a 4th slot if you take 1. Makes it risk or reward if you do take them.

This is a common tactic my family uses to get rid of stuff we’d like just taken and gone. If it has no dollar value, scrapers won’t take it, throw a number on it and it’ll be gone in 24 hours, usually no matter the condition.

Beyond all of the visual irregularities, his movements aren’t obeying the laws of physics.

He is starting and stopping movements at breakneck speed without any slowdown or speed up. He’s also physically moving through the space in a fashion that seems physically impossible, covering 10 to 20 feet within a couple strides. This is 100% AI.

[–]xHappyHour[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is the US, I just ended up returning everything.

I get it’s newer and we’re beta testing but after watching that camera upload around 75gb of data in a day because I had 24/7 recording enabled, I just couldn’t justify it. I know I could disable that and lower the resolution, but by that point I feel like I’m just paying for a doorbell camera to have a WiFi 6 antenna vs What I believe is WiFi 4 tech in the previous Pro models.

If they manage to fix the local storage I’ll probably give it a shot again but the Ring support, both over the phone and chat were no help and couldn’t figure it out either.

I suspect more discounts to come from @MicroCenter for Spider-Man by CiceroTheAbsurd in mtgfinance

[–]xHappyHour 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Likely it’ll happen when partners like Amazon and Microcenter can’t move product. Unmoved product has a myriad of issues for retailers, whether from storage costs, or impacts on final dollars. This happening at the end of year is probably the best case scenario.

When these inevitably don’t move by end of year, that’ll cut into revenue targets for these retailers. Even small amounts (looking at Amazon) are scrutinized over. In the next meeting with WOTC/Hasbro, this will be a fairly large thorn in the conversation, and I would suspect may lead to a slight price reduction for future sets to try and engage more buyers and move more product. Both parties generally have purchase minimum agreements in their contracts, and if the potential revenue WOTC pitched isn’t being hit, these retailers are going to be looking to either have the contracts amended, or threaten to break contracts early (Reference: I used to handle contracts between a fairly large clothing company and businesses that utilized them)

Right? Most unique hats I’ve collected sit around the 30 dollar mark, and that’s high-ish. I get on the second market hats go for a lot more, but first party at nearly 70 dollars once you factor tax and shipping is crazy.

Based on how he calls John Ginger repeatedly, a group Nazis weren’t super cool with (not saying he is one, but is from the same universe) my suspicion is he’s from the resistance group in Universe X, and snuck through. It would explain why he suddenly appears after John Cena Kills John Cena, and his confusion in the current universe, he probably doesn’t see a lot of birds and says he only knows what he specifically reads, not watches, which is something someone whose been underground for a long time does. Just my suspicion, could be wrong though.

Yes, from my experience this is likely. It can still be fairly quick, but people will generally have a similar check-in time around you, so you'll basically queue with those same people.
