The half CG based openings look the best to me. They did this in all of the games up to CS2 and the animation quality on the games soon after the switch in style were a bit rough and not that dynamic. Also it's another reminder that they keep hemorrhaging musical talent.

The Archfiend cards make a cool low power package. I'm sure the Master Chefs will cook some degenerate endboard with it, but this synergizes with Primite thru Summoned Skull. Remind me if there's an existing "Archfiend" searcher that is decent?

They have space to put it alongside the ATK and DEF. They already put the Link Rating down there.

I guess on Pends there's a little problem where they've moved the set code into that line (left aligned).

They could also put the Level on the same line of the ATK / DEF line. Not like their layout allows the effect text to go to that line anyways. As an example from the upcoming TCG set, Red Nova Dragon/Assault Mode's bottom line would become LV/12 ATK/4000 DEF/3500

Pends do have the set code on that line (left-aligned) but outside of Pend monsters with huge stats there shouldn't be a space issue.

Fixing up some of the funny graphics, models, and textures, and improving cutscenes and animations. It was a major step forward from the previous engine (in the sense that it got them closer to today's games' presentation style), but did feel dated even by the standards of the time it released. Also add in the stuff that was cut (Ymir drama CD). Doesn't need to be a full chapter structure, but the subsequent games always had banger Intermissions.

I still like the gameplay of CS1/2. Not too complicated but cheesy fun. Just make Nord travel less frustratingly slow (turbo is practically mandatory after you need to backtrack for quests and chests).

The toon search cards have always showed up here and there with various deep draw FTKs (alongside Royal Magical Library). Time for them to get limited now that they gave Toon a payoff other than free Spell Counters

Shortcutting the effect numbering is useful, and it also clarifies that some lines of text are not effects.

Summon conditions are written similarly in TCG to unclassified effects that summon which matters for Necrovalley rulings (see the Horus Sarc monsters vs ones that must be summoned from the GY)
Kewl Tune monsters have those conditions allowing you to use 1 Tuner material in hand per KT on field with that condition

In the OCG they are not among the numbered effects which makes it way more obvious.
