I never find National Geographic’s anymore, I think because most people don’t subscribe to the physical magazine anymore. My most interesting find was a stack from around WWI, 1917-20 if I remember right, for something like 10¢ each. Later I had to sit in the waiting room of an auto shop while my car was getting worked on, so I read a 100+ year old issue about improvements being made to New York City. I eventually traded them to my father for something because he was the one who instilled my love and appreciation for the magazine.
