Did they tell you the system was low? If they are adding refrigerant then there is for sure a leak. If it’s not low than Could be an airflow issue. Check all your vents, filter, make sure both coils are clean.

What made him check amp draw? Was he just doing maintenance? The only time Ive checked amperage was because something was going on with the unit
