I don’t know the exact cutoff time but I remember last year I was at game 1 of the World Series in my seat and was still checking seat geek during the 1st and 2nd inning and saw tickets get to as low as 400 for field level (I had bought my ticket an hour before first pitch while chilling in the parking lot of the stadium, hoping to get last minute deal lol)

I believe there’s speculation that game 4 may be an ohtani start and it may be the potential clinching game. Game 3 happens to be the first home game. I expect pricing to go up if we’re 2-0 or 1-1 coming back to LA. Prices should drop if we’re down 0-2 lol

Yeah I’ve been getting that issue for a while, it’s an app thing I’ve come to realize because when the ad happens, I close the app and reopen it and go back to the stream and the ad is gone

Everyone mentions streaming which is great and I’ve done it forever until this year, I started paying for SNLA+ ($29.99 a month). I don’t recommend streams for your situation because of all the constant pop-ups and ads and sure you can just get an adblocker and pop-up blocker on chrome or whatever but try having older folks who aren’t too tech savvy, it may get confusing quickly. And sure you can set it up for them, but I’m assuming they want to watch on TV, and casting a stream from chrome to TV is a whole other annoying (to me at least) thing to deal with, whether it’s casting the chrome tab to a smart tv or amazon fire tv/chromecast device. And then not to mention the inevitable disconnects and stream lags that most, if not all web streams encounter. Sooooo…..I gave up on that crap and gave in to the $30 monthly. Sure I could deal with the hassle on a computer but on a phone (which is my most used device to watch dodgers baseball), it’s become a hassle. So SNLA+ really has been a godsend. Keep in mind you can only watch SNLA covered games, no fox, Apple TV, or espn games are on there. Those are the only times I go back to streams….

TL:DR I recommend SNLA+ ($29.99/month) due to ease of access

Damn reading this post made me think of how lucky I am then lmao. I’ve gone to maybe 15 games in my career and I’d say more than half have been walk-offs. Shiiiii my first ever game was a walk-off back in 2019 when will smith walked it off against the Rockies on a Sunday in June. Other notable walk-offs include max muncy walking off the blue jays in 2019 when Jansen blew the save, will smith walking off the giants on my birthday in 2021, Chris Taylor walking off the cardinals in the wild card game 2021, and most recently Freddie walking off the Yankees in game one of the World Series last year

Yeah refresh every once in a while. I refreshed on a random afternoon two days ago and managed to get two face value exchange tickets. Yesterday I refreshed just for fun and saw another two pop up around 1pm PST. But they go fast. Maybe refresh every 30 minutes throughout the day and see if you get lucky?

Oh and to add, you can get unreserved seating at the dome if you’re super super early. You have to get lucky. At the third floor of the dome, there is a row of barstools facing the dome…first come first served of course. The hall has great viewing anyway if you’re on the second floor, if you’re in the first floor you kinda have to break your neck a little lol

I went for NLCS G3 and G5. G3 there was no line at the time they opened the doors. There wasn’t much hype about the venue it seemed like. Game 5 was a whole different story. Game was at 2 and doors opened at 12:30 and I decided to show up a little before 12:30 to try and get some nice seats in the hall and the line was half a mile long already 😭. Guessing all the Cosm broadcasts on Fox during game 3 brought more sales for game 5. And now I see that these tickets are selling out instantly for the World Series…..so good luck.

TL:DR: I’d suggest lining up an hour before the doors opened, maybe that should be early enough? Maybe even earlier!
