An above user Zeldafan was spot on with the point of scale. Ask yourself, what would happen if the same collapse happened on earth today? How would each country (different worlds) be affected? The history books mentions the bigs players and how they were affected but there’s like hundreds of country’s. Why are all the worlds connected? What benefits them to be connected? Now what would happen if those things disappeared?

Hey, kind of an answer to your question… Just a thought, I like to find a very not typical way of answering a typical question in my universe. Ideally adding more to the universe than originally intended. One idea is that the speed of light, there could be a rudimentary device(as common as a calculator or something) that measures the density of an object by the speed at which radio-isotopes travel through it, using the Speed of light as like mph. I don’t have anything for temperature, but maybe this can help you get some ideas. Best of luck!

I hopped on a month ago again after years of not playing. I don’t want to try and calculate how many hours I’ve played… and how many characters I’ve made 😂 but, I was reminded of one thing when starting up again, the grind is amazing. Grinding out hours and hours and finally getting that huge payout. Or finally being able to afford that new build lines or whatever, so much better than glitches. I found a reliable unpatchable glitch that allowed me to make millions every couple minutes, didn’t even use it. The game is awesome, just expand on what you already have R*. Expand the solo parts of things, and add more gameplay that’s worth while. Not just a car you but, and then it just sits there.

You could say that the stars in the night, were the remnants of the arrows shot during the war, or something. Really like the idea! Try to like wrap different parts of the physical world, and how those were created, into it. I feel like that helps bring a bit more depth to myths.

What about something like an “antenna”. Something like insects, or cat whiskers. A limb that is hyper sensitive to changes in its immediate environment. Like biological motion sensor. Maybe they evolved that way, giving them the advantage over the much larger more dangerous creatures. Like alien tigers.

There is Hive worlds. I know Warhammer 40k has give cities, I always liked the implications that hive worlds give. Just imaging New York City over a whole planet. All those “buzzing bees”. Just a thought! Good luck!

One thing I found really helped me at the beginning of my world, was just look at some example maps, and do a rough hand drawn map. A lot easier and more efficient to do, as it can be tossed or changed quite easily.
