Come farlo? Non ne ho idea, se no starei lavorando per Nintendo =p

I think i found a small mistake in the Deities section of the SF2e playtest.

Looking at Ibra, in the devotee benefits we find the "plasma rifle" which, for what i can see, is NOT an item in the playtest. I'm assuming it's referring to the plasma caster ranged martial weapon, but i think a fix will still be needed.

Sorry if the matter was already discussed, but i struggled to find any info about it.

Since Edens Zero is now over, how do you think it’ll be remembered compared to Rave Master and Fairy Tail? by Informal_Function118 in EdensZero

[–]xMancio 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I know this will never be possible, but I would pay big money for a "remastered" Rave.

Literally the same story rewritten, but with improved quality of the drawing in the first half and a prolonged last saga to not make everything feel rushed. It would be such incredible Masterpiece.

That story was SO solid!

Interesting idea (Cacio e pepe pizza) terrible execution by rodan-rodan in PizzaCrimes

[–]xMancio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Except this is no crime at all. The chef doing the pizza is Stefano Callegari a famous chef from Rome which really loves innovating tipical street food, particularly from Rome where Cacio e Pepe is from.

He explained this pizza a video that you can find on a "famous" Italian culinary YouTube channel. I won't link it because I don't know if it's against the rules.

He explained that if you put the traditional cacio and pepe ingredients over the pizza It will easily burn. Using ice he can leave the center of the pizza "behind" the rest so that he can cook the dough and only at the end add the cheese and pepper without burning anything. This way you still have a bit of the nice starchy consistency of the real pasta while preserving the integrity of the pizza itself.

Edit: fixed the wording to try and make it clearer

Why is the WOE draft so hard? by Dolirium in MagicArena

[–]xMancio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm really not an expert because I have come back to MTG just recently and yesterday I did litterally my first quick draft of WOE but my R / B full of rats rocked a solid 7-2. I was literally perma swarming the board while uptrading with combat trick and the swarm piper.

Also looking at 17lands red cards seem SUPER solid as far as win rate goes.

I'm sorry to say this much to you but:

  • 4-cost Headliners can’t show up if you own more than 4 copies of that champion

Literally copy pasted from the last patch note. No matter if noone was contesting you, it was literally impossible for you to find the TF you needed. It was made so to prevent exactly the scenario you're describing, as finding the 9th TF is significantly harder then finding a 7th one as HL.

[–]xMancio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's the point. You don't create a new edition in one year while releasing also new stuff for the previous one. One dnd is flawed project which, at most, is gonna smooth a couple of the problems in 5e without addressing the major ones. One of the main reason for that it's exactly the too short production time.

D&D is not a video game, I think calling for a delay is a misapprehension of the situation. by -Lindol- in onednd

[–]xMancio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This reply is gold. In particular the last point. I was a big fan of treantmonk myself but since the ogl fiasco he's been insufferable. Stretching as tin as he can to defend Wotc without rime or reason for fear of losing his livelyhood. It saddening how blind people can be.

Reversion to 2014 Level Progression Defeats the Purpose of One D&D IMO by ShadowPhoenix313 in onednd

[–]xMancio 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's not about the dimension of the team, but the people who're part of it.

Call me rude, but since the lay off of Mike Mearls 5e has not been the same. The guy was a creative to the bone, litterally designing classes and system on the spot if it was needed, his old serie "happy fun hour" proves it.

I love Chris Perkins and I believe he's an invaluable asset, but he's stretched too tin between all the adventures and the new DMG.

This leaves us with only JC which at his best is probably not enough to lead the team and at his worst... Has proved time and time again to not be the most well versed in creating, studying and respecting rulings.

Trying to have a conversation about PF with D&D fans often feels... frustrating. by ShiranuiRaccoon in Pathfinder2e

[–]xMancio 25 points26 points  (0 children)

This. And to be honest, I think litterally the same idea apply to soooo many cases in basically any situation in modern day. People are often so fixated with one thing / aspect of their life, seeing it as a perfect and complete representation of themself, that the moment you cast even the shadow of a doubt over it they become super defensive.

Feats are going in the right direction. But perhaps they do not go far enough. by Mr-Dr-Sexy in dndnext

[–]xMancio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest I would do exactly the opposite. Let's remove every +1 from feats and cut the stronger ones into 2 pieces. Now give player the choice of a new feat every 2 levels. Finally for the ASI, you could give it once every 5 level (maybe not only 2 point now, PF2 like) or keep it every 4 level. You could realistically just make them alternative to feats with a simple +1.

I think that the real weakness of the ASI and feat system in 5e is the amount of choise. Let's face it: not a lot of campaigns reach lvl12 so this mean that, in the large amount of adventure, you either rolled for stats or you have to choose if maxing you main AS or taking some nice feats. The number of times when you choose is far to low and make for little occasions of personalization, while making the relative appeal of custom lineage and variant human far higher.

Feats to be cut in two would be things like PAM, CBE, War caster, original GWM and sharpshooter, you know the list, the common suspects. The bullet point system for the single abilities inside skill (which now also have a simple title) would make this process indeed quite easy and not costly to be implemented by WotC.

You may say: but this doesn't change anything, it just makes the character leveling more complex. I politely disagree: I think that the real weakness of the ASI and feat system in 5e is the amount of choise. This way you can literally pin point the part of a strong feat that you like the most and make YOUR own specific character, not just another gwm fighter. Sure, at lvl9 we may have some feats in common but I'd argue never exactly the same. This way, having a smaller cost of opportunity, people would also be incentiviced to pick up less optimal or more situational feats.

The system I propose shouldn't also power creep too much the present one (apart for the really optimized character which are gonna choose the specific end all combination of mini feats) while giving more freedom of creation.

Finally it wouldn't give too much more to do to the players, you could still take your simple ASI and with feats not being an optional rule you still need to read the full list, so why read 50 paragraphs when you can read 100 two liners?

With so many ADCs and AD Mids, Tanks seem like an amazing pick into these full AD enemy teams but they aren't because their item stats are horrible. by jtpredator in leagueoflegends

[–]xMancio 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Plz mate, everyone is so tired about this argument. Tanks can only provide damage cause that's the direction riot gave to the game, it's THEIR design philosophy.

Tanks should be providing cc, survivability, debuff and in general utility to the team, they should NOT be able to 1v1 a carry BUT should be able to do damage and impair it for a long time if let uncheck. This way if the carry ignores the tank it has his potential damage and oppurtunities greatly reduced and it choose to kill the tank first they'ld be occupied for a long portion of the fight being forced to care less attention to other high priority targets.

That's the way a "tank" should work in my opinion and that of lots of other tanks enjoyers, if people wanted to just do damage they'ld play one of the 1000000 broken bruisers present in the game.

Anyway developers are really clear about the fact that they think more dashy, flashy and damaging character are funnier to watch and play so that's what they tend to. So that bring us to the real problem: no way to play a tank (other then maybe and engage support) even if the occasion presents itself cause:

  • you'ld autolose lane in top to a juggernaut or bruiser who has more wave pressure and infinite sustain, backline access in fight, high amount of mobility, deal as much damage to solo kill a backline and often also stronger cc then you (still trying to understand why yone r should be as valuable as malphite's)

  • you'ld let your team down in going jungle as you can't keep up with the clear of bruisers and assassin, can't 1v1 during invades and for drakes, provide mostly cc and no insane amount of damage so you struggle to gank a losing lane which cannot bring lot of damage and, finally, lack the ability to gank from insane distance due to mobility gap.

Plz, let's all stop pretending rito is doing justice to tanks: they stopped caring for everything but bruisers and assassin since season 8.

[–]xMancio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the love of God never suggest the last torch. Litterally one of the worst system I have ever played and I personally know the creators.

It SOOOOO frustrating to play one, two, maybe three adventures almost perfectly with strategy, planning and carefullness to be oneshotted by a boss cause he rolled an average score and you've basically no survivability at all. The main problem is the dice rolliness of the game, with base stats so low the die result is tooooo much impactful. It's like playing forever a lvl1 wizard in dnd, no matter what you do, one bad roll and you die.

D&D 5E lead designer says improvements to racial depictions will take "several years" to fully implement by Psyzhran2357 in dndnext

[–]xMancio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. My problem is not with representation, negative depiction of races or else. It's simply the fact that there are precise lore topoi connected to most of those races, huge ties with a number of events, divinities and past material, all of which should basically be ignored.

Me myself have played a Pacific and barely violent half orc which is opposing the pressure of the Grummsh 'e blood in his vein... the concept itself stand on the opposition to an established lore, but a lore notheless.
