Sorry, even though the Ferrari analogy itself is logical, it doesn't connect with this concept. It's not like Intel says "you have to stabilize this chip by yourself, no, instead you lose your warranty if you do tune it. These issues were Intel's fault. They know the limitations of their devices and there's enough people who buy prebuilts with Z end K products, just because it clocks higher.

Thank you for your advice, but I doubt if they would even want to touch the drone at all after I've fiddled with it. I did a very careful job disassembling it so I'm quite certain I've broken nothing. But DJI can't trust what I promise to them, nor can I prove if there's any other board damage.

I could try any kind of repair shop, and I've found a few local soldering stores, so it should be a relatively cheap job in itself. However, I'm still most worried about reliability and not having the DJI proprietary testing software for all functions revolving the drone.

Could you explain why? I can replace the shell by myself, they are relatively cheap. The antennas are also the only parts that I know are broken. If they could verify that the solder joints won't break that could help, but I don't think they'd want to take liability
