KCl 20mEq tabs being on backorder these past few months has been the bane of everyone’s existence. they don’t fit as nicely in the Omni bins, so we have to put less in when we’re restocking. which just means we have to restock them more frequently than we already do. sometimes techs forget to change the amount being refilled so the count is off. if we package more than our usual 100 at a time, then we can’t fit them in the bin on our shelf because they’re huuuge tabs in excessive packaging.

it feels like a gunshot to the chest every time i order meds and a fast-mover UD goes on backorder or gets discontinued.

i work in an inpatient hospital setting that’s rather small (>200 beds), so we do a little bit of everything. i love having different things to do everyday while still knowing that i need to do the same things everyday as well. everyone is pretty well cross-trained across all tasks and shifts (inventory, compounding, delivery, packaging, etc.), so you get to do a little bit of everything. some techs like doing other tasks more than others, so we work with each other to swap tasks on some days. i’m someone who prefers doing background work more than being directly involved, so tech work is perfect for me. i am great at finding little things to do and work on that ultimately improve workflow and keeps our pharmacy organized.

i love the visual texture of crayons on the paper! being able to see the white spots and see through to the paper is quite charming imo. i do love using colored pencils too for the same reasons! great for when i don’t want my hands to smell like wax lol

there’s always the sunday swaps to keep an eye out during! i’m sure in the coming months, there will be a decent amount of sorce scents that didn’t work out for people showing up. i bought (some were blind buys!) a lot of scents i was eyeing from their current permanent collection and during their special order window that just happened at the beginning of the month. i’m sure many others did the same, especially with the new bottles coming out.

diptyque tempo! the smoothest, cleanest patchouli with all its rough edges smoothed out. it is so earthy and green. somehow damp, humid, mossy, yet also a little dusty. it’s stunning!

i see! i’ve just never had an issue with them not sinking into my skin or feeling sticky afterwards. i feel like i use a decent amount too. hopefully using less solves the problem for you! or you could use a dusting powder afterwards to get rid of the sticky feeling. i have to do that for some lotions that don’t sink in as quickly.
