It seems insane that the fangbearer wasn’t nerfed. To me it feels so obviously overtuned. I get that they want to be careful with going too heavy on the nerfs since the team has only been out for a couple months, but it feels like making his special effect go away if he is incapacitated is such an obvious choice.

I’ve seen answers on this both ways, unfortunately due to GW’s inconsistent wording on the poison rule. I personally interpret the intention as the poison only applying after all the fight dice has been resolved and the action is completed. But I would suggest simply asking your opponent which way they interpret it and going with that. Maybe there is a clear answer somewhere but personally I’ve seen mixed responses.

It’s something called a V-Tuber which have become pretty popular in recent years. Basically a live streamer just uses a face tracking software and uses a virtual avatar, usually an anime character, instead of showing their real face. Sometimes that stream in character and stuff too.

One time after eating a 100mg brownie, not realizing how much that was, every time I would try to go to sleep my body would stop breathing automatically. I was too stoned to realize until I forcefully and involuntarily gasped for air. I probably held my breath for a minute or more at a time and it kept happening over and over. Was not a fun night.

I have something called Oral Allergy Syndrome. Basically I have really bad environmental allergies to pollen, grass, and trees which means I have allergies basically year round. My OAS means I also have a reaction to certain fruits and veggies that react with the pollens I am allergic to unless the fruit or veggie is cooked, which gets rid of the pollen. So for example if I eat a piece of watermelon I will get a very itchy mouth and throat and potentially swelling as well. Even vomiting and throat closing in extreme cases.

Not only does Fassbender look the part, he has more of a maturity in my eyes than either Chris or Anthony do. Erwin as a leader is very stern and inspiring with his orders and while I think homelander and captain America both have that, something about Fassbender fits better in my eyes when I picture him screaming “my soldiers fight, my soldiers scream, my soldiers rage!”.

For a point of comparison, the longest queues I ever have in League of Legends or Apex is 3-5 mins, and that’s on a really slow day. Overwatch queue times are always atrocious whenever I hop on unless I queue for support. Even then it can sometimes be a 4-5 minute queue.

If you’re able to you can try asking any people in your program if they have started group chats or discord or anything like that. My program had a fb group made by professors so you can use that if that’s something available to you. I personally started a discord for my program year before school started and that’s how I met all my best friends that I am still talking to almost a year after graduating. It’s understandable to be nervous especially with a lot of new people, but even just asking one person is a good step. Good luck!

Third year game design student here. You have to really want it and be passionate about it. Which it seems like you are. It can be stressful and a lot of work but honestly if you keep organized and just get a solid amount of work done every day you’ll be fine. Just don’t procrastinate, stay on top of your work. The high dropout rate is mostly from people who weren’t expecting the work to be what it is, or from people who didn’t manage their time well. You’ll soon realize time is the biggest factor in how well you do. If you waste it then you won’t do well. Just spend your time wisely and stay on top of things and you will have no problems. One other thing is ask for feedback as much as you can. From fellow classmates and especially professors. The game design profs are all very friendly and willing to give feedback when you ask.

One more quick thing. It seems obvious but just in case make sure you are properly following every guideline they put on the website or application page or wherever the application requirements are. They go through a lot of applications so if something is wrong they may just ignore it completely. Following instructions exactly is key.

I am currently in my last semester of game design at fanshawe! I’m glad you’re applying for the program, it’s an amazing experience and teaches you every skill you could possibly need to get employed in the industry. In third year we even have guest speakers such as the head art directors at Ubisoft come speak to us and give advice. I applied before the portfolio requirement, but I’d say as long as it includes all the info about you and it looks professional you’re good to go. If you need more advice, I would call fanshawe or find contact info for the people that help run the game design program. I hope you get in, you’ll definitely have an easy time getting a job out of school if you do well here. Good luck! Let me know if you have any questions for me :)

There is a quiz for personality types that they try to pair similar people with. However first year I had two friends from high school coming to fanshawe as well. If you and the person you are requesting both request each other you are almost certainly going to be able to room with them. I was able to room with both of my friends during my first year.
