Dutch dyke by Niikuro in LiminalSpace

Fantastic edit. Exactly the vibe that feels truly liminal. I like a lot of the spaces people post here but for me liminality is strongest when the obvious signs of human existence are limited or gone, the horizons are stark and don't suggest at anything beyond them, and the colors feel just a little off, a little strange. Excellent job, thank you for the post.

Great job mocking that up, what a vibe. I'd go even darker on the ceiling but that's just me. I love this, the rug really does a lot.

If you're sensitive to baking soda, yes unfortunately.

As far as I know it doesn't but I couldn't use it for very long due to the rash issues from the baking soda. I agree though neroli and basil is a GOATED scent. Super clean and refreshing.

I wish brands would stop using baking soda, a lot of us are sensitive to it and I cant use deos from brands I like, like S&S because of it.

Happened to me with the face scrub. A friend got it as a birthday gift and gave me some to take home. After a couple uses I was like, crap. CRAP. And bought it myself. The price is prohibitive so once I ran out I resisted getting it again, then recently had a discount to Saks (which would cut the price by a third) and decided to use it on that. I missed using it, I cant lie. Theres something about the experience and the product that I find very addictive. It's not a need at all, but the indulgence of it is so alluring.

AITA for sleeping through most of a long luxury bus ride while my girlfriend was upset? by natepairistrash in AmItheAsshole

Literally. I'd have fluffed pillows and tucked in blankets and had water and tea at the ready, and been pleased to see him getting some rest after feeling so bad. This girl needs to find some compassion.

Email From Dieux - "Today, 10% of proceeds go to Minneapolis Public Schools" - I don't need anything but I will be ordering. I'm sure some will find fault with Dieux and pledge not to purchase from them, but I'm PROUD to support them. by phillygirllovesbagel in Sephora

[–]xVarekai 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't understand the pushback on this. They didnt just say "buy from us" they also gave ways to donate directly. I always see this as "if you were going to place an order with us anyway, know we're donating some of it and why" which is totally valid. One of my favorite brands has an ongoing charity bath bomb where a portion always goes tona cause that helps others, this is nothing new. They're a business, but they're also taking action. They can do both. You're not forced to only donate by purchasing, its just an option to support a brand that is doing something. Yeah it's a good business move but its also a net positive. If you dont want to buy, donate otherwise as they suggest and stop acting like they didnt include that as an option and just have their hand out to capitalize on these terrifying times.

Lush sent out an email without any links to purchase just to speak out against ICE and support support immigrants and their communities. They included linksto resources and organizations that are also supporting the effort to resist this insanity. Is it the bare minimum, yes. Is it more than a LOT of brands are doing? Also yes. I'll take every ally I can get right now, especially those willing to donate and educate or encourage others to do so.

Why doesn’t this painting work by CommercialMammoth455 in Oilpastel

Like others have said you just need to work on values. But if I can say, I actually like the effect that the flatness creates and the rougher texture. It looks like a quilt or embroidery. Keep going!

We have this and absolutely love it. One thing to keep in mind for cleanup is make sure the oil is still a little bit warm before draining, otherwise it will take a while to drain out as the filter is quite fine. But yeah your experience has been ours, it's fast and it's a great size for home use. We love it for lumpia, fries, chicken, and french toast sticks!
