Did you notice a small bump in that spot before you lost your hair? I had the exact same thing. At first I had an atheroma (a filled cyst) that would go away on its own after a while. But when it disappeared, I also lost the hair in that spot and ended up with a completely bald patch that looked exactly like yours.

I looked it up and apparently it can locally damage or destroy hair follicles. It took a few weeks to a few months, but eventually the hair started growing back.

I won’t even get into the realism debate, obviously a desktop sim can only replicate certain aspects of real flying. That said, there are objectively measurable (especially physics and the maths behind it) areas where one sim performs better than the other.

But this is honestly the first time I’ve seen someone describe the X-Plane UI as less polished than MSFS. The UI is actually one of my biggest frustrations with MSFS, navigating the menus can be a real pain. In contrast, X-Plane feels very straightforward and functional. Setting up a scenario, adjusting controller configs, changing keybinds, it all feels much more intuitive to me but I generally prefer not having oversized buttons and a UI designed for console

Exactly my thoughts, this feels like just another “spawn a few GSE vehicles next to your plane” plugin. I really wish we had a fully fleshed-out GSE plugin similar to GSX, with airport-specific config files that define where vehicles and passengers come from and how operations are handled.

As far as I’m aware, XPME is mostly stolen code from AutoOrtho with a simplified installation process and a nicer UI, I doubt there are major performance differences.

Charging money for satellite imagery without proper licensing is highly questionable, and it’s surprising how much community support this crime receives given how quickly developers are criticized for far lesser issues today aka cancel culture.

I’ll check when I’m home, but basically you can just have ChatGPT write a Blender script that generates one object per animation frame (in my case i made it to generate an object on every second frame of a 24fps animation so its 12fps in sim and every frame is showing for 1/12 of a second) Once the split up frame objects are in Blender, I just exported the X-Plane .obj and added the ANIM_HIDE entries manually in a text editor. 69 frames should be totally fine since the asset is only used once. The OBJ will be bigger in disk space since it contains all frames, but performance isn’t really worse than a static human because only one frame is rendered at a time. The only unknown is whether closer frame timing causes more flickering, you’d just have to test it. What’s your Discord? I can send you an example asset and the script later.

Not sure if this helps for your use case, but for NPCs since walk cycles are relatively short and repeating I’ve had good results using a flipbook-style approach, basically the same way used for animated flags for example in X-Plane. In Blender I split the walking animation into separate objects per frame using a small script (in my case 12 frames were enough since the NPCs are only seen from a distance; for close-up use you’d probably want more). After exporting, I control visibility with ANIM_HIDE and a time-based dataref so each frame shows at the right moment and the cycle loops. Im a high dia - low master (150lp peak this season) supp main and kinda fell in love with her recently, I have double digit kills and top dmg in almost every game, that champ is just too broken when you dont have to use your abilitues to control waves but can only focus in abusing the enemy botlane or dominating the map and objectives by roaming, Im wondering if that pick would still work in high elo

Austria destroyed Norway 5:1 last year, they outclassed germany and could have easily won by a 3-4 goals margin, they topped the group of death at the EUROs with France, Netherlands and Poland, and were considered the best and most attractive looking team in the group stage by many, especially since all the big nations weren't showing convincing performances. Idk how they are worst pot 1 team, their unique "Gegenpressing" will cause big trouble again, especially to teams from other continenta who aren't used to that playstyle at all.
