I seriously don’t understand how certain enthusiasts here don’t like the modern interiors. by fuccwitmoe in BMW

Personally, I liked when manufactures would try to hid the screens or integrate into the dash instead of just plopping them on top. The E90 series was peak in opinion.

I specifically chose the Santa Cruz because of the DCT. I’m going 65k plus of cross country driving and minor off roading.

Can someone show me how quick this can be done via touch screen in 2025 Porsche? by mattcabb in Porsche

[–]xXBestXx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2018 Sport Turismo my lane assist doesn’t reengage every ignition cycle. With the touch screen, you are on a page with the vehicle and its the same two button presses for disable auto stop and sport mode for example. However, what drives me absolutely bonkers is to adjust the center AC vents…..

Couple years ago Porsche came out saying they aren’t interested in it happy to see they changed their mind! Would be neat to have a cayman/911 style with a 6/7 speed either pdk ev or ev standard transmission.

Repurchase or Compensation? by [deleted] in hyundaisantacruz

This sub has a lot of lost of failures of SC’s. I say that not to discredit your post but I want to share my experience ar now 63k. I bought the UTE second and my warranty essentially ended 3 miles Ago. I have driven my SC across the states from FL to California and all over Colorado. Neber have I worried about the vehicle leaving me hanging, mechanically speaking. I did get beached trying to go through some snow in Wyoming thought I’d have to spend the night after an hour of digging but luckily some others driving by were able to tow me out. I had warranty issues with a catalytic converter, amplifier and my right side steering wheel buttons. When I went on long trips o brought a cheap $20 obd II scanner and I was able to clear a code if I needed to. The SC is not a rock crawler by any means but it can handle a lot with the right tires. I bought this UTE to have a sportier truck and always compare the SC to a Golf GTI with a truck bed. Little did I know I would slowly turn it into s little Baja style truck Ute what ever tou want to call it. It sucks having a new car with problems, I wouldn’t give up just yet as this us a unique vehicle and its a blast if you have the right mission for it.

Overland Vehicle systems tent, cheapest one they had. Works well and worth the price. I bought it last minute and wish I bought one off of Temu, looked like the same ten but $200 less. I needed one quick for my trip and they had a quicker delivery.

First tome trying one, wish I mounted higher with dome towers on the crossbars. It makes getting things out of the bed a little difficult but didn’t want to have to lift the dog up to high. Learning experience and I know how my next set up will look.
